“The perfect little beach!”

Plage de la Gravette
Reviewed 25 June 2018 via mobile

We stayed in old town Antibes and this beach was 2 minutes walk away. It is a lovely sandy beach and even on a busy day you can find a spot.

Much nicer than the beaches in cap D’antibes in my opinion.

This is almost a secluded beach. Unfortunately I was here early in the day so it was cool and not conducive to swimming or wading. Still it is a nice quiet place to visit and enjoy the location and sea.

We went to this lovely little horseshoe shaped beach on a sunny day in March. Sitting on the wall to picnic, we felt really warm. The sand is soft under foot.
The view is really quite impressive across the bay. The sand was all a bit uneven that day as a digger had been at work but no doubt he was getting it ready for visitors.
The sea does get deep quite quickly. Someone was swimming and they were soon up to their waist. But shallow on the edge.

This sandy beach is small and perfectly formed. It is close to the old town and port so very accessible. There were several showers but no other evident amenities (ie - toilets). Even in September there were many people enjoying the sunshine and quiet of this little beach. Planning to go again on the next sunny day!

Great beach in a quite spectacular location. Big sand beach and shallow water. Bring your own umbrella, a small kiosk is located near buy for drinks and snacks.
