The location is what you are paying for here. However, some of the other features are lacking-- The airconditioning is very very poor, so if you catch a heat wave you will be miserable. Their answer: "The French don't like air conditioning. Get used to it." Also, the Wifi doesn't work at all. Their answer: "It's broken, too many people using it, and you didn't pay for it, so it's a free service, go to a cafe or something else." So if all you need is a view and little else, you will be happy here.

Room Tip: A wide variety of state of rooms. Some renovated, some with old smelly carpet.

This hotel is the closest to the port, with a spledid view, if you have a seaside room. The staff is friendly, but you have to pay for hotel private parking and for breakfast. Rooms are clean, well equiped and quiet. Unfortunatelly, the internet connection is the worst I have ever seen and the wifi signal is almost inexistent in the rooms. If you want a good internet connection, you can go to the cafe next to the hotel (Pointu) to have a coffee and surf the web.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for four days in early June. We always noticed the hotel when we visited Beaulieu but used to stay across the road at the now closed Metropole.
The hotel is ideal for a short stay and provides fairly basic accommodation. We had a front room which was quite small but it had an adequate shower room and nice balcony with a wonderful view of the marina and beyond towards Eze. The room had recently been refurbished to a good standard. The only slight drawback of having a front room is the traffic noise - not too bad with the balcony doors closed but not great with them open especially at the busy times of the day. The room had efficient a/con.
The hotel has a room at the front for breakfast which was adequate and value for money. It has a small pool at the rear with sun loungers and a roof terrace.
Staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel has wifi which tended to work in our room when it felt like it . The hotel's location is ideal for everything in Beaulieu.
We were pleased at last to stay at the hotel. It is relatively cheap and therefore good value. Excellent in its class would be a fair comment. Would have no hesitation to return.

Room Tip: notwithstanding the traffic front, high rooms are the best.

We stayed one night in a refurbished room on the front and two nights in an un-modernised room on the back. This was due to me cancelling the original booking for a sea view room due to the air traffic strike. The staff at the hotel were very helpful in re-booking us during a busy period, hence the use of two rooms. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly, helpful and, luckily for us, spoke good English.
We found the room at the rear perfectly acceptable even though the décor and standard of bathroom is not as those at the front. If you like sitting on the balcony in the sun then the rear of the hotel is preferable as it gets more sun than the front. The view is quite nice as well, see my pictures.
The pool area is very clean and although there are no umbrellas, the beds do had built in sun shades.
We did not use Wi-Fi but were warned that it comes and goes.
We had one breakfast and the choice was good and you could eat as much as you like.
The bus stops in either direction are less than 50 metres. Monaco cost 1 euro each, Villefrance and Nice 1.5 euro however they were packed, standing room only, and the timetable seemed erratic. No return bus from Monaco arrived so we got the train at 2.4 euros, the Beaulieu station being a ten minute walk.
I would stay in this hotel again and would choose a rear view room.

Have just arrived back from ten days in this hotel. it was wonderful experience. We stayed in a sea view room on the 4th floor, which was one of the refurbished ones so cant comment on the other room withmountain view. It is worth the extra for a sea view as the balcony is large and the view over the marina superb. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard and bed linen and sheets also changed daily. The breakfast was a continental but was plentiful. We only had breakfast two days but was completely satisfactory. There are a couple of supermarkets five minutes walk the larger of the two by the rail station has everything you could possible need. The hotel doesn't mind if you take food back with you and we had lunch several times on the balcony watching the super yachts and the busy marina. The bus stops outside the door for Eze and Nice and Monaco and is 1eur 50. the ride to Eze is very scenic and worth a mornings visit. Walk to Villefranche sur mer and St John Cap Ferrat there are buses to both these places but be aware the buses stop at 8pm, we got caught out like this and the taxi fares are ridiculously pricey. The pool area is clean but lacks Sun Umbrellas and we unfortunately only spent a couple of days by the pool because of the lack of shade, the sun is on the pool from late morning till early evening. We picked this hotel especially because of the pool. There are restaurants within easy walk and some lovely ones but expensive alongside the Marina so head into town. The staff are delightful and helpful. If you haven't got too much luggage you can easily get the train back to the airport changing from train to bus outside the rail station which will take you straight to terminal 1. The taxi fare was 60 euros. The roof terrace is a lovely alternative to the pool for sunbathing and it has shady areas with tables, chairs and sun loungers.

The hotel offer free Wi-fi but unfortunately it doesn't work most of the time and this can be frustrating especially if like us you needed to keep in touch with family and using your phone can be expensive. So two of the reasons we chose this hotel the pool and Wi-fi we weren't able to use. BUT I would still go back and recommend it to friends.

Room Tip: We had room 444 but any front facing room on the top floor. These rooms have been refurbished and a...

We stayed for two nights, nicely appointed room with sea vie overlooking the marina. Double glazing works well as we experienced no noise at night. Receptionist on arrival was very helpful and welcoming the receptionist on check out was not so friendly. Breakfast at 9 euros was adequate.

This hotel is in a fabulous location, spoiled by poor attitude of some staff, who looked down their noses as we were in a 'standard' room! the condition of these rooms were tired and grubby. Good breakfast though, fresh and plentiful. I wouldn't choose to stay there again.
