Stayed here for three nights and it was terrific. Catherine is a wonderful, charming hostess with a warm, inviting smile and a wealth of information to share about the surrounding area. The Terrasses has four (I think) rooms, each uniquely decorated with en-suite bathroom. I stayed in the Trapeziste room, which has a nice balcony with spectacular views of the sea. It was very pleasant to sit and watch the planes land and take off from the Nice airport off in the distance. The bed was very comfortable, the place was spotless and it was peaceful as well. All the things that you want in an accommodation - comfort, cleanliness, and tranquility.

Breakfast on the terrace with its spectacular view was quite delicious. Fresh baked croissants, home made yogurt and jams, and fresh fruit with juices, coffee and tea. One could easily spend the day just enjoying the view. The location in Haut de Cagnes is great. The free navette stops just outside the guest house and takes you down to the town in about 5 minutes. Check out the website and then make a reservation to stay here. It was one of the high points of my trip and I look forward to returning some day soon with my family.

We stayed here in May 2014. The room is very clean, large, has a sitting area and good view. The bed is comfortable and breakfast is excellent with homemade jam/yoghurt etc. From this B&B, it is a couple of miutes' walk to the castle and the Old Town's square where there is a range of eating places at various prices. Les Terrasses du Soleil is in the quiet area of Haut-de Cagnes which is away from the seaside but only about a 20 minute drive from the airport. There is a free bus service down to the main town but we found it useful to have a car. Haut-de-Cagnes is within easy reach of the hill villages of St.Paul and Tourrettes-sur-Loup. There's a warm welcome from Catherine and Patrick. We would definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in this wonderful guest house and it really is a very special place to stay. It is in a superb location, not too far from Nice airport, and you are warmly welcomed by the lovely Catherine who goes that extra mile in making you feel right at home. Our suite was perfect with THE most amazing view from the window which we could happily have looked at all day! Huge bed, and all spotlessly clean. We had a continental style breakfast on the veranda each morning with fresh croissants and delicious breads..had chocolate and fig bread..to die for and all home made as were the jams, never tasted anything like them. Beautiful flowers are everywhere and all so well maintained. Catherine explained in detail how to get to the places we wanted to visit and there is a free shuttle bus that takes you to the bus station every 15 minutes which you will want to take advantage of especially on the way up as it's quite an incline to the guest house and maybe too much for some people. Train station is a pleasant walk to get to and got us to Cannes, Nice and Monaco, Catherine provided us with a train timetable and kindly marked the trains we needed to catch. This really is the friendliest and most stunning of places we have ever stayed in and we are penciled in to return again next year. Thankyou Catherine, don't change a thing because it's just perfect x

I am writing this while sipping wine on the terrace of the Betty room. I would normally wait until I return home before reviewing accommodation, but this guest house is just too special not to share with the world. Catherine welcomes you into her home and you are immediately captured by its spell. The history of the home is special, with so many famous people having passed through its doors. None more special however than Catherine herself. She is the perfect host. Generous, kind and incredibly talented. The house itself is charming, the rooms spotless and spacious. The breakfast is a treat. Changing specials each day and all home made. The jams are incredible. To crown it all Les Terrases du Soleil nestles in the most magnificent of medieval villages. So close to Nice airport, but so far from the hustle and bustle. Each day we head out and visit wonderful spots on Cote D'Azur, but we are always excited to return to the sanctuary that is Les Terrasses. I could go on and on, suffice to say we will visit again and again. Merci beaucoup, c'est parfait !

We had the most wonderful experience staying with Catherine and Patrick in their unique, beautiful and charming B & B in a beautiful historic district. The room was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated with vintage furniture. The atmosphere warm and inviting. The view from the breakfast terrace was extraordinary overlooking the sea and the breakfast was wonderful. Catherine was so knowlegable about the area and helped us plan our excursions by bus and made wonderful suggestions for restaurants, etc. My greatest wish is to someday be able to go back to Les Terrasses Du Soleil. Since we went for our 20th anniversary I am hoping to be healthy enough to go there for the 30th. I thought seeing Les Collette would be the highlight of my visit, but the stay in Cagnes was just as special. The history of the B & B is also very interesting. We were fascinated by George Ulmer.

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful and spacious with a good view.
