we stayed in the hotel for one night at the end of September. We were put in a new suite with a dining room and kitchen attached. It was excellent. The only down side was that it was the furthest room in the hotel from reception and the swimming pool with a 5 minute walk uphill to get to both. It was fine for one night but I suggest that saying longer would get you very fit with all the exercise walking to and from the pool.

The breakfast was well presented.

We found this hotel on trip advisor this year after visiting near to St Paul de Vence last year.
We stayed in a poolside room with a great view - pool was too cold to swim but it was mid October!
Had dinner on a couple of evenings and it was excellent on both nights - picture on a plate matched by fantastic flavours.
There are a couple of issues that need to be sorted. The poolside room is described as deluxe and it is really quite spartan for the amount paid per night. The only mirror is in the bathroom which was described as having a bath but it is really just a small shower room with a curtain. The TV is small but adequate and tucked away in the wardrobe - just a couple of English speaking news channels (take a few books and sit outside). The free wifi is way too slow - when it takes 30 secs to load google home page you know there is a problem. I had a chat with reception (who are always friendly) - apparently too many people are using the wifi in the hotel - time to increase your broadband capacity I think! There are different wifi logins for each area of the hotel (all free) and all are painfully slow. The exception is the hotel pass worded staff wifi which apparently is "super fast" as only 2 computers access it. I ended up reverting to using 3G on my mobile which is about 10 times faster than the free wifi.
Overall, nice hotel in a great location (you will need a hire car) with a few issues to sort out. Billed as a 4 star hotel but deluxe poolside room feels lower than this. Average value for money.

Room Tip: Room 23 has the morning sun but outside seating is in the shade from mid afternoon. Room 25 has bett...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and would have loved to stay a third. It was just far enough from the busyness of the Riviera but close enough to see the sites. The room we had was at the bottom of a hill which was a bit of a walk to the reception, breakfast area and pool but this really added to the serenity of the area being a bit away from everyone else. The room we had was quiet large with a great shower and a bath and a great king size bed. Staff were lovely and spoke english which was really helpful. Make sure you take some insect repellent as there is a few in the area but otherwise I would highly recommended this one.

Myself and three friends travelled to this hotel for a birthday celebration. The rooms we had booked were as expected and the welcome and service at the bar were excellent. Tne food is outstanding and the location fabulous BUT there is no where near enough room around the pool for the number of guests and the freeloaders allowed to use the pool area ( apparently they live on the complex!!!!) spoiled what was to be a very special weekend for us and many of the other paying guests.

I stayed in this hotel about 8 years back. It was pretty new, well designed and very well managed and maintained.
This time I booked 3 nights staying on Expedia, for a POOLSIDE room. I was already there in the past so I perfectly knew what I was looking for.
At the check in the boy was nice but nobody else was there to help us with the luggage. (My wife is 8 month pregnant). He took one trolley and showed us the room. The room given to us was totally not POOLSIDE but the last one far away from the pool after 3 ramps of steps.
I informed him that we booked a poolside room. He asked us to wait there that he would have to check with the system. After few minutes he came back informing us that due to a problem of the " booking system" the one showed, was the last and only room available and to compensate the mistake he would have offered a lunch at the restaurant. We informed him we were not interested in a free lunch but we would like to have just what we booked. (Poolside room). Than he offered for the next 2 days an upgrade in a available suite . We accepted.
Even if the reception boy was at the end kind in managing "the problem" it is always deeply uncomfortable to get in a hotel and be forced to discuss for the wrong room given.
Hotel anyway is not bad, rooms need some maintenance.
The pool beds are totally not enough for the guests so the " war" for them starts early morning.
I remember this hotel as a tranquil spot were to relax, but I found it this time more family oriented ( especially from holland, being this hotel owned by a Dutch company) were too many children and their parents are screaming and playing all day long. also floating mats and toys are allowed in the pool.
We booked in dollar on Expedia.com saving some money but definitely this hotel doesn't worth the 250/350€ regular rate of a double room.
I think I will not return.

Room Tip: Chose the poolside ones.

Was struggling to find a family room anywhere in the Cannes/Nice area but eventually found this on hotels.com. What a find. Apparently, mostly frequented by the Dutch and a little known gem. A bit off the beaten track but small and very well positioned with lovely pool. Relaxed and friendly and really high quality, spacious rooms. You do need a car to get to amenities in Cagnes sur Mer.
We will most definitely come back to this small and exclusive little hotel.

Domaine Cocagne is perfect if you are looking for a hotel with great, I mean really great beds.. very good food, a nice pool (Next to the bar), a good location close to many must visits such as Mougins, Theoule sur mer, Antibes, Juan Les Pins, Cannes etc.
Everything is within a 20 minute drive.
The salads are very nice.

We were here with kids, which is very nice.
If you are looking for a hotel right in the circus of the nightlife of places such as Juan les Pins, then this is not the place. It's more easy going.

We can really recommend it.

Room Tip: If you are with kids ask for the rooms around the pool.
