Parked our car in the nearby car park on the way to the standard Cannes attractions, what a find! Gorgeous narrow streets flanked by a variety of fabulous looking restaurants. Very pretty, kind of thing you see in pictures. Quite steep though but added to the charm. A must see to balance the modern glitz of the rest of the town :-)

The view from above the hill is amazing. The old town, with its streets and restaurants, is very nice to see but, if you choose the wrong way, it can be a hard way up.

This is a great area in Cannes. It is what you imagine of every sea side town in the south of France. Narrow steep streets lined with restaurants provide lots of choice for places to eat during the day and night. Some great photo opps as well for those that love to explore.

Views from Le Suquet were amazing. You could see Cannes & the port from its high vantage point. Don't miss visiting the church at the top as well. From the Port, we could see Le Suquet and we walked towards its direction. Then, we walked up the streets of the old town. Just follow the signs as you walk and you won't miss it. At the top of the hill, make a left turn and you are there.

We took the steps down (facing the church) on our way back, instead of walking through the old town. It was a much faster way down as we were going downhill.
