The Croisette is a nice place for a stroll, taking in its complete length from one port to the other and watching all the beautiful people go by, the boats bobbling on the sea, and some amazing cars cruise along the road. Sometimes crowded, often hot in full sun (but many bars are available should thirst overcome you), and even reasonable public toilets.

Its just a nice walk where you have the sea on one side and upscale shops on the other. We were quite disappointed in Cannes. It appears like one big upscale shopping town. Sorry did not like Cannes at all. So many other beautiful places to visit in the south of France. Would never return.

The Croisette is where you see the great, the near-great, and the slobs of Cannes. It's the boulevard on which the great hotels of Cannes are lined up. The hotels are over-priced, overly fancy, and filled with the glitzy and not-so-glitzy tourists of Cannes. Traffic is slow. It's more fun visiting the old city of Cannes, or going into the interior of the town a few blocks off the Croisette for restaurants and bars. Check out some of the hotel lobbies if you're not staying in any of them.

La Croisette is a very interesting promenade you can't miss!! On one side there's the beach, on the other a great deal of high fashion designer clothes: Chanel, Celine, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Valentino and so on! And there are also a few very nice hotels to see like Carlton Hotel. Even if you can't afford the shops you can always look at the shop windows!! It's not as good but this road's a must and if you have children there's a small playground and a few carousels at the beginning of the Croisette so they can have fun too! One ride is €2 but if they have multiple rides there are discounts! Have fun à la Croisette!!

Just like any other promenade in the world with the exception of great amount of luxury boutiques along the walk. Walkable in less than 30 minutes.
