Owner description: For a ride through the relatively narrow streets of Vieux Cannes (Le Suquet), board the train at a clearly designated site along La Croisette on its seaward side. Both tours depart every hour; each lasts between 30 and 40 minutes and each costs between 5€ and 6€ for adults, and between 2.50€ and 3€ for children under 10, depending on the tour. (The tour of the old town is the less expensive.) A combination ticket granting access on both of the two tours (which can be enjoyed on separate days, if you prefer) costs 8€ for adults and 5€ for children under 10. Sadly, all. Can think is 'I will never get those 2 hours back!' It is by far the worst tour I have ever had. Don't think, run from this tour.

The Bad- the train literally just follows the shore line except for a brief stop on a hill where they literally give you 10 minutes to take pictures. The speaking guide is (like others an earbud you listen to) horrible. They tell you very little facts. The facts they do tell you don't line up with the sites you are looking at. They will talk about a building that you either passed or haven't gotten to yet. And there is more music than talking. Horribly boring info on top of that.

You can walk the shoreline and learn more and enjoy more.

The only good is that it is literally right there when you exit he cruise ship.
The cost is 10 euros per person which it isn't worth it but the worse part is that I lost 2precious hours in France on this tour.

Having arrived in Cannes on a cruise ship we had nothing planned. The Petit Train was near to the cruise terminal & we thought what the heck let's give it a go. The tour lasted an hour & was very informative & as we were there during The Film Festival a feel of mixing with the stars. These type of tours are often staffed by people who just want to take your money but we felt that the staff on the train were proud to show us Cannes. If in Cannes & at a loose end invest €10 on this you won't regret it. Merci Le Petit Train.

A very good way to visit all main attractions and feel Cannes. There are 2 routes for 7 euros and a big one for 10, that combines those 2. For 1 hour you will have a nice excursion with a stop at the
medieval town of Le Suquet with nice views of the city. The tour has translations in 8 languages

Combined History and Croisette tour cost €10 per person, and quiet honestly is overpriced.

The Croisette tour takes you along the water line to the Palm Beach Casino and gives you a commentary along the way, however there is more music playing to fill in time, then what there is of presenting facts.
The train the doubles back on itself and shows a few famous hotels, the. Takes you down the main high end fashion label street, where they say the rich and famous shop. Honestly rich and famous would have the store come to them, and never be seen in the street. The street, whilst nice, was pretty much empty when we did the drive by at 12.30 pm. Very few shops open and even less people around.
We re-walked the high end street at 1.30pm and it was just as empty, with only restaurants and a few fashion stores open.

The History tour commenced seamlessly at the conclusion of the Croisette tour. This provided more facts and a further drive by of locations. We did drive in the first street of Cannes, and then had a 10 minute stop, where we could walk around Le Suquet at the top of the hill for views of Cannes. This was the highlight of both tours.

It is a good first view of Cannes, but if your a keen walker and have a good map, you can easily walk this whole tour in about 2 hours.

We arrived in Cannes on a very rainy day in May... we hopped on to this train from La Croisette (close to the main film festival area). It is a good way to see Cannes in an hour. It helped us to get oriented to the city.. and then we explored on feet, once the rain stopped.
