“Great place”

We loved le Cavendish. Our room was very comfortable and quite even if it was overlooking the main avenue. One minor issue we had were the pillows - I'd recommend them to put thinner pillows in the rooms as ours were too poofy. The room was very well decorated and had full of nice little touches. The staff were extremely warm and helpful. We enjoyed very much our stay at Le Cavendish and recommend it to everyone!

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the higher floors!

Really great find. The Staff here are all really fantastic. I've been working in 4 and 5 star hotels in London for many years and yet the level of customer care here is outstanding.
Nothing was a problem and the breakfast and evening drinks facilities were perfect for us. The whole party I was with who all have some experience of staying in high quality establishments were unanimous in their praise for the staff.
The rooms we stayed in were a little small but had all the facilities one would expect and anyway who visits Cannes and stays in their Hotel room all the time?
When we needed a larger space to commune in the Breakfast room was willingly offered ...even when we ordered Take-away pizza one night (a little naughty I know)
In an expensive town it was one of the places where we felt we really got value for money. Keep up the good work guys and hope to see you all soon.

Both of us are regulars at 5* hotels in business so we always look for that level of service with a bit more intimacy on holiday and this did not disappoint. Position is great - a 5 min walk to the main part of town, the rooms are spacious for a city centre hotel and beautifully decorated. The staff were super friendly and could not have been nicer or more helpful. Wifi was free, free open bar for an aperitif before you go out for dinner, they provide towels if you want to go to the beach and breakfast waits for you rather than there being a cut off time. All these things made you feel especially welcome and at home. Overall a first class experience.

Staff wonderful
Hotel is really a B&B with (I think) only one common area - a room used for breakfast and a bar (its small).
The lift is 'interesting' and quite an experience.
The Hotel is a little far back from the seafront and the wrong side of a major road. There is a lot of traffic noise.

Fantastic hotel absolutely worthy of its number one spot on tripadvisor.
Julia, who was a sweetie and made our are stay perfect. Not only did she give us a complimentary room upgrade but gave us complementary late checkout as well. The breakfast is yummy and the happy hour is great for meeting the other guests at the hotel. It is a spotlessly clean hotel, has free wifi and it is in a perfect location, 2 minutes from the station by foot and 2 from the main beach/ shopping area. Emma was lovely and really looked after us on the last night. This is a hotel I will definitely return to in a hurry.

Room Tip: get to happy hour early to meet the other guests

I stayed at Hotel le Cavendish this past week for MIPIM, a large real estate investment conference that was being held nearby. Cavendish is charming in its subdelties and history. The historic nature of the hotel has been beautifully preserved and the original elevator, in all of its glory, is beautiful.
The service is exceptional---the best I have witnessed. The staff is enthusiastic, sincere and takes a genuine interest in everything they do. For an American who sadly speaks no French, this was a delightful surprise.
Two nice touches were the complimentary breakfast (delicous with many options) and their 'open bar' where they provide complimentary wine and liquor from 6-9 pm.
The rooms are also very nice and larger than I expected. The bed was very comfortable.
The location is excellent, a short four block walk down the hill for my convention and near the heart of everything.
Overall, it was an amazing stay and I was sad to leave---a true boutique experience!

The Cavendish from the moment I arrived was welcoming and helpful. The building is beautiful with the orginal 1920's lift.

My room was a standard room so hadn't expected too much but it was stylishly decorated and a good size with everything I needed and was very French which I loved. It had character but was by no means dated in decor and had a lovely cute balcony. The bed was comfy with a quilt (which being from the UK I love!) and Egyptian cotton linen and big white fluffy towels. House keeping were the best I have ever come across...my room was absolutely spotless and the little touches didn't go unnoticed.

I spent the evening in the free bar area where there was any kind of drink to help yourself to (fantastic touch)! The lovely bar assistant brought me bits of pizza to nibble on and even topped up my glass as he could see I was working away on my laptop (free wifi). Breakfast was served in the same room simple but just want you need in France...croissant, lovely jam and freshly squeezed orange juice!

The only downside was the traffic noise from my room as I was located on the main road side of the hotel.

I would love to return to this hotel for pleasure and enjoy with my partner as it’s never the same on your own and on business!

Thank you I have been very impressed!
