From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted with amazing, courteous, helpful staff.
Rita was amazing and immediately 2 coffees were in front of us as we checked in.
She was like a long lost friend and I have never taken so long to check in to a hotel or cared at how long it took as every minute left us more relaxed.
The old world charm of the hotel is infectious with an amazing 1920’s elevator wrapped by a beautiful staircase leading to our room which was comfortable and included a quaint balcony.
A cold bottle of Rose wine awaits as well as complimentary cold water in the fridge.
My only grumble would be no tea/coffee making facilities but the staff had no issue making a fresh pot of coffee on asking.
Continental breakfast in the morning offers everything you could want and a huge selection of teas gives the English gent no cause to grumble!
Ideally located 5 mins from the main train and bus station and 10 mins leisurely stroll to the seafront.
Highly recommended and I can’t wait to come back.

This was a third visit to Le Cavendish, what a treasure this is, the staff, the rooms, the breakfast, open bar in the evening and of course so near the centre.

So easy to take the bus via the autoroute from Nice Airport.

Room Tip: The rotunda rooms are delightful, but all the other are very good, electric shutters keep out Street noise

What a wonderful stay we had here. Rita at reception greeted us and made us so welcome. Coffee was brought whilst we checked in which was much appreciated. Our room was delightful in a beautiful French style, a little balcony looking over the main street. We did not hear any traffic and slept well. Breakfast was excellent. In the evening there is a complimentary bar..what more could you ask for. Good free internet connection too. Only a 5 minute walk to the train station and shops and near the beach (10 mins). Have suggested to friends this would make a great weekend break to stay at this hotel and visit Cannes and other places by train e.g. Monaco. Thank you to all at Le Cavendish for a lovely start to our holiday.

very friendly staff, welcoming and helpful with our stay in Cannes, quite an intimate little hotel offering a free bar of an evening, a home made breakfast buffet of a morning was quite nice, not the best I have had but all quite adequate, comfortable bed although room was a bit dated for our liking, if I stayed here again I would upgrade to the best rooms!

Stayed here for the weekend with friends and had a lovely stay. The hotel is perhaps not down at the port but it makes up for any inconvenience with its charming staff, comfortable rooms and excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was very good.
Afternoon happy hour, a pleasure.
