Not disappointed with hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, great location and reasonably priced and on site free parking which is a great plus. Only negative is no lift but then the receptionist helped with the cases

We spent a week at Hotel Alexandre III in Cannes. This is a three star hotel. It was also very nice. One of the nicest places I stayed in. My wife and I came with our four children. The environment was safe and clean. The rooms were in great order. The terrace had a refreshing atmosphere. You could add breakfast to your booking which we did. It was great to come down with the family for breakfast and have a continental breakfast waiting.

The location is superb. It's less than a five minute walk to the public beach and the Croisette. With a ten minute walk we could snorkel by Palm Beach, where we saw loads of fish and even a couple octopi. We could catch the bus (only 2min walk) to Antibes or Nice which is very convenient.

The hotel was equipped with wifi which worked everywhere in the hotel that I went.

We don't speak French, but that was not a problem as the staff is multilingual. since this isn't a massive hotel, the staff are very personable and friendly. You won't fall through the cracks there.

The rooms were very comfortable en suite rooms. Our room (junior suite) had an oversized bed which is a rare treat for me, since my feet hang off the bottom of the standard 200cm long mattress.

I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We loved the junior suite. It had windows on 2 sides of the main room and a couch that folded out in...

Stayed for one night in this hotel, traveling with my wife and one of my children. Booked the "Suite Coffee", this is a large suite with separate bedroom, a living with a sofa bed, separate toilet and bathroom and a "walk-in-closet". A terrace of 40 sqm, but with not so nice view of the surrounding flats. Check-in was efficient, room was clean, a water cooker and some tea and coffee would have been nice. Both rooms have air conditioning, although quiet, I like to sleep with windows open. The bedroom is very noisy, the living room very quiet. Croisette is 150 meters away, shopping, beaches all in walking distance. Worth the money and it's 3 stars. I would rate it good.

I've got the junior suite for 2 nights. Bed was ok, excellent shower, very clean bathroom. Room was very spacious, wifi worked flawlessly. Don't expect fancy decor though.
Stayed on second floor, no elevator. Friendly staff, both that I've met spoke perfect English.
It's located 2 blocks from the Croisette, but on the opposite site of the Palais du Festival and old town. If you don't mind walking it can be a good choice. There's a couple mini-markets near buy where you can buy groceries. No fridge nor safe in room though.
I didn't try breakfast and there's free parking on the back.

The hotel didn't honour a price agreement for a long stay from the beginning. It says wifi throughout whole hotel on website which is not true, there is no wifi on the top floor and week on the second. If you decide to sit in the lounge area after 11 you will be disappointed as they lock it up which leaves you 2 chairs in the lobby. The hotel smells musty and tired and the rooms are small besides the top floor which are slightly bigger but no wifi, which for me is crazy as i need access for my work. the outdoor garden is minimal and lacks any comfortable furniture. Tv is tiny and on a bad angle. Bed is terrible. and lets not forget the glowing blue light that aluminates the hotel that gives it a brothel feel every time you look out the window at night.

Awful simply awful, there is much better in Cannes for a better price!

Room Tip: Avoid 3rd floor and away from noisy road.

We really enjoyed our Stay there. The WiFi didn't work in our room- We were on the top floor. No elevators. Close enough to the beach & the attractions of Cannes but far enough that it's quiet. And Free parking!! a big Bonus in Cannes.

Little bit smaller rooms than expected, but hey, this is France!

Good quality rooms, nice decoration and friendly/helpful staff.

Great location + parking.
