This hotel itself is fine, and the location is good. The rooms are basic and the furnishings not attractive or especially comfortable, but everything was clean and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the bathroom. Service can charitably be described as "quiet" (my colleague would use the word "surly"). There's no safe in the room, no clock, and only one power outlet (in the bathroom).

I think if we had paid around €150-€200/night, I would give this hotel an average rating - not fabulous but delivers on what it promises. We were there for a conference, so I can understand having to pay premium rates. But €385/night with a three-night minimum (we only stayed 2 nights) is absolutely outrageous, and the owners of this place should be ashamed of themselves. If you're going to charge that much, the very least you can do is have a friendly front desk and bedding that was bought this century.

Hello,

We were traveling with family. I was looking for the hotel not very expensive, not far from the center of the town, near the public beach and with nice view from the windows/balcony.

I have choose Hotel Regina. I made a booking for two standard rooms direct with the hotel by e-mail 3-4 months in advance. The girl who is/was working in this hotel, Ms Marion, was very helpful and gentle. She promised us to do her best that we have the rooms one on the 2nd, another on the 3rd floor (they don't have 2 standard rooms on same floor). I understood that it was not sure but still look like for the moment when I was making a booking the rooms on the highest floor were available.

Everything was perfect till the day when I decided to write to the hotel again to confirm one more time my booking (2-3 weeks in advance). This time I received an answer from another person, Mr Christophe Bruxelle, who said that it will not be possible to give me the third floor and he will give us the first floor because they are receiving for same period one habituate client and he is more privileged than us. I would not make a story from it if not such answer ! I am also working in the hotel and I would never allow myself to answer this way to the client. So of course I asked him to try to satisfied my request and if it would not be done I would cancel my booking. Mr Bruxelle took it bad, he said that in his hotel they are not use to discuss so long with the client simple booking... Well, in the end he still upgrade the room of the first floor and put it on the same floor as another one, second floor. Thank you, Mr Bruxelle.

Normally check-in was from 2 p.m. We were allowed to go in the room at 1 p.m. Nice.
In the hotel there is one old lift made for 2-3 people maximum. There are also stairs.
The room were with old furniture. In the room for 2 people (double standard) there were 1 bed (I think 140 cm), 1 table, 1 TV, 2 chairs, 1 closet, 1 air-condition and 1 mini-bar.
I don't really have explanation why but bed was not comfortable at all. It was very hard for me and for my husband to sleep on it. We didn't have rights to use mini-bar as fridge.
The bathroom was ok. Just they have the problem with the shower because when you take it water go everywhere in the bathroom and after shower we were need to put towels on floor to not slide (I almost fall 2 times).

The housekeeping was cleaning the room every day, changing towels every day too and normally every 3 days they should change sheets but it wasn't done in both rooms booked. 1 day before to leave I said it to Mr Bruxelle. From start he took me for lier telling that it's impossible and that the housekeeping never do mistakes. The conversation was finished on it. Look like he didn't want to talk or was with bad mood. I asked one more time myself "does he heard already the phrase that the client is always right ? ". I don"t think so.
I didn't start to make a story from it because I understood already from start that he is not very professional in his work. I went to see the housekeeping direct who immediately checked and confirmed to me that they did a mistake with the planning and it wasn't done. The sheets were changed same day and it's what I was simply asking. I understand that everyone do mistake, we are all human. Mr Bruxelle received information from housekeeping about it and as soon as he saw us he just said that it was really not done ... He didn't even said sorry or something like that ...

In the end of our stay they also decided to put in our total amount of the rooms the mini-bar telling that we took something in it. That is faux ! We never took anything from it ! So we should prove them during 10 minutes that it's a mistake. In the end the girl on reception took it out from our receipt but look like she was not very happy of it and look like she didn't trust us a lot...

If not, hotel is really well situated. 3-5 minutes by walking from the public beach. It's 1 minute from the main street La Croisette. Around there is a big choice of restaurants.

Their breakfast service we didn't took. But I saw just walking near the breakfast room what they were offering to the client for 18 euros !! and I can tell that you can eat much more cheaper in the town, just near to the hotel.

If not, honestly, if you are not expecting a lot from the hotel where you are planning to stay, I think it's enough good hotel just to sleep there.

Have a nice vacation ! :)

My husband ordered two coffees early morning, as in room service and guess what the price was for two coffees? 10 Euros for two coffees!!! We never received a statement or cash slip for the coffees and my comment is... stay away from this hotel because the "ripoff artist" does not need customers and he pocketed that money all for himself.

This hotel does not deserve 3*. I'm very disappointed.
The building is very old with shabby rooms. No safe in rooms. If you ask the staff to put your valuable in safe, they will take it to the kitchen.
Breakfasts are not diverse: instant coffee and croissants every day, no ham, no juice, no fruits, no vegetables.
The host was the worst. Very rude. When he's at the reception he does not pass the correspondence to the guests. He opens it, reads and throws away. When you ask, he starts shouting: "The hotel is my property. If you dislike something, get away!"
