Tucked away in the Rue de Gabres, Le Bouche will do more than just amuse your bouche, it will leave you happy, relaxed, and satisfied. The menu is straightforward tapas, but why improve on what is already perfect? The ingredients are fresh and of the finest quality, and the service is friendly in the extreme. We had the mixed charcuterie and the mixed grill. The latter, in particular, was amazing--tender chicken cutlets, juicy cuts of steak, and spicy sausage all grilled and seasoned to perfection. There are also pasta, vegetable, and fish options. Top it off with a nice wine selection and you have a perfect meal for 2 or 12. Our only gripes were that the music was a bit loud (a common Cannes conceit) and that the view of the rue (essentially an L-shaped alley) was hardly spectacular. But then again, we were so enthralled by the food that neither really mattered. Small wonder Le Bouche a Oreille's walls are decorated with pictures of happy customers, as I share their emphatic enthusiasm for this lovely bistro.
