when staying at the Martinez, we went again for dinner at the Palme d'Or (2 adults and our boys, 6 and 7). We had an excellent experience again - a beautiful table on the terrace with view on the sea (yes, there can be noise from the cars right below on the street). We took the Movement dinner (pigeon and the prawn movement) and our boys had a turbot and lamb. All was perfectly prepared, service was impeccable. The sommelier, while not the most dynamic person in the world, made excellent recommendations. Our boys were very happy, although this is not a typical restaurant to bring young children. However, they had been here before and are used to going to star restaurants. However, they were very welcome again.
I do understand that some might be disappointed by the quantity of the meal. If you expect huge amounts of food, this is not your place. If you want to have exquisite food, with a real taste, then I can recommend la Palme d'Or
