“Best view in the world?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

To say this is probably the best located B and B in the world could be seen as hyperbole, it isn't . The view from any room including the terrace is truly stunning as the attached picture shows. By chambre dhote standards this is not a cheap place to stay, by the standards of the cote d'azure it's a steal!
Philippe and his wife are wonderful hosts, they have very exacting standards. We were lucky to have booked the la village room, this has its own patio and small garden. It's located on the lower floor of the house with stunning views. It's a very large room decorated in neutral shades with an open plan layout where the sleeping area merges into the enormous shower area.........it's is in fact a wet room with a huge windows that gives the impression of showering outdoors. All very French and sophisticated. It is semi troglodyte in feel, so cool but some may consider it a bit enclosed, we valued the privacy.
Breakfast. Is excellent, fruit and a huge array of bread and home made jams.
I find it hard to find anything to criticise. I would give one word of caution, the private road to the villa is very hard find, in fact almost impossible in the dark, it has two very tight hair pins and is very very steep. If you drive a low slung car I suggest walking down first as you will ground it on the corners.
Final recommendation, we have already booked for next year.

We really enjoyed our short 2-night stay at this lovely B&B. The location and view are exceptional. Great base for exploring the Cote d'Azur. Our room was lovely, with a huge bath with luxurious amenities, towels, and bed linens. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and a homemade tarte tatin. Philippe was very welcoming, making dinner reservations for us and suggesting several very scenic drives not listed in any guidebooks. We would return tomorrow if we could!

Room Tip: Every room has an amazing view.

Thank you Philippe for a most lovely stay. The views are stunning, overlooking the Mediterranean and the town of Eze. The rooms have the kind of character you hope to find in a B&B. (The price was 175 euros a room in June.) If you are a walker, take the two hour walk (a short climb at the beginning) from the house to the town of La Turbie. The views along the trail are stunning -- of La Turbie, Monoco, and the sea.

We really enjoyed our four night stay at this lovely retreat. We will return whenever we are in the area. Our accommodations were very clean, spacious, and truly luxurious. The towels and bed linens were truly of 5 star hotel quality. The owners are warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. There is plenty to do in the area including small villages, large cities, beautiful views, and plenty of touristy things. This is a great place place to just relax.

The Domaine Pins Paul is a fabulous place with a fantastic view deserving of its #1 rating. The B&B is located high up on the Cote D'Azur, overlooking the medieval town of Eze, as well as Beaulieu sur Mer, Cap Ferret, and Villefranche sur Mer. Getting up in the morning and looking out the window is like looking down on Paradise.

The accommodations are very stylish and excellent; Philippe, who speaks English fluently, and Marie Josée are great hosts and are very helpful with itinerary suggestions and restaurant recommendations. As befits its status as a hidden jewel, it is not that easy to find when you are looking for it for the first time.

Room Tip: Our room was "Le Village" which had its own terrace and view, but all the rooms are great.

Phillipe and Marie Josee were like visiting family. They were so gracious and helpful we just fell in love. We arrived late after the long drive from Paris and Phillipe dropped us off at a wonderful family restaurant down the road. They stayed open late to delight us with a delicious meal after which the chef offered to drive us back to pins paul! (Phillipe gave us a "torch" and we enjoyed the walk back) Their home is lovely, like something out of a movie. We hope we can go back in the summer sometime to enjoy their lovely pools and grounds. The drive is worth this gem!

The place is as beautiful as it is friendly and hospitable. It is reasonably priced, serene and with casual elegance, and the innkeepers are doing their very best to make your stay as wonderful and memorable as possible. They even, on thier own initiative, found a newspaper in our native language and presented it to us at breakfast! This is a place to linger, relax, and enjoy the good life.
