Probably one of the best hotels in the world...the location is unique, the setting is just incredible...and the restaurant...Patrick Raingeard is a genius and he deserves a 2nd star...he knows how to surprise you and prepare the most delicious dishes. Quality has a price : if you can afford it, not to be missed.

We recently held our wedding party here and it was the most magical day ever. All our guests even those living in the South of France agreed that this is the most beautiful location they have ever been in. I would highly recommend this for lunch, dinner or just a drink on the terrace as it is a place you should really not miss in this lifetime.

Beautiful and very elegant hotel. We had an incredible view of the sea from our room and although the hotel was full it felt very private and secluded. Great breakfast and attentive service.
We advised the hotel we were vegetarians before we arrived but by the second day we had eaten everything on the menus and were not offered alternatives.
Big downside was the beach was very dirty and not cleaned. Plastic bottles, contact lens cases, rope on the beach for our entire stay (3 days) and two large pieces of metal (2'-3') were visible in the sea from the beach.
I contacted the hotel with our comments after we left and they did not reply until I followed my message up 6 days later.
Amazing place, but for the price tag I was expecting perfection.

Thank you very much for your review; this should never have happened. Given your detailed comments on the cleanliness of the beach, this has now been addressed. The beach is maintained twice a day and kept in a pristine condition. Hopefully we will have the opportunity of welcoming you to Cap Estel in the near future.

Kind regards

beautiful....so beautiful!!!!!!we were relaxed because it was so beautiful!!!!the sea...the swimming pools....the grounds.....everything!!!!!the location is superb!!!!if IMUST point out something,is that you need a car,we had asked from before to rent a car and as they work with the best they arranged the best and in very very good prize!!!!it is very luxurious so the money is not the issue.you get the best!!!but i found breakfast very very expensive for what it was and i really didn't find it interesting.as for dinner, they are very caring very nice and professionals but the area you dine.its also the breakfast area.is not as the other areas.i must admit it lacks atmosphere.and the dinner was really something to see but not at our taste.the place for lunch on the other hand is superb!!!!!and the food there!!!!we loved our stay and we appreciate the unique location and the people working there.unique!!!!!!!

Room Tip: all the rooms are unique!!!!!all!!!

We had a wonderful lunch at the Hotel Cap Estel's Restaurant "La Table de Patrick Rainegeard" and although expensive was well worth the splurge. The food and service were impecable. The property is the one of the most elegant I have seen anywhere, situated on the point Bord de Mer Eze. The price of the hotel is a bit out of our range, but if one can pretend that money is no object if only for a few days - this is the place.

The hotel's location is a promontory on the French Riviera, this certainly adds to it's appeal. The building is elegant as are the elegantly designed well kept gardens. The grounds include an infinity pool from which one has a view of the sea from the cliff top. There is a wooden decking area on the pebble beach which has a wooden walkway into the sea. The pleasant restaurant has one Michelin star, and the food as one would expect is very good. However despite all these complements and the hotel being very nice indeed, I felt the hotel and staff lacked atmosphere and consequently I found it a bit cold and clinical. It would not be my personal choice for an extended stay.

If you are looking for a heaven away like an island, Cap Estel Hotel is the perfect place. Not only a place where history meets elegance and sens of welcome, but also the opportunity to feel a unique moment that will leave you with memories forever. The Chef Patrick Raingeard will enjoy your time with his subtile cuisine from their own potager and fresh market. The Chef Patissier Vincent will surprise you with very delicate desserts. The whole team is making sure that your will enjoy your time in a cosy atmosphere. Even if you do not book a suite, be prepared for spacious room with all attentions from the staff that make you feeling like at home, the service on the top. We enjoyed our stay, as part of the family, likely what the owner wish every Guest to feel about. Definitely will come back.
