the place is just located in an amazing setting. I would not necessarily go back as the whole area is just as stunning. But definitely great!

The gardens and coastal views are as spectacular as they were on a first visit 40 years ago! Much has changed on the Cote d'Azur (traffic, construction) but this attraction is timeless. The paths, lookouts and gardens have been somewhat improved, graded and stocked with additional cacti and also include some tasteful sculptures. The narrow and partly steep streets can become a little crowded when two or three groups turn up but they disperse and one should not shelve a visit just on account of visitor interest. The entrance fee is one of the few for which I would gladly pay double. It's that good (and a high 429 metres or 1400 feet above look straight down sea level)!

Eze is a beautiful place. The best view is from the Gardens where you can overlook the town and get an incredible view of the ocean! It's only 6euro to enter (per person) and worth every euro!! It is a cactus garden so there are not may colourful flowers, but still very pretty and the view captures more beauty than flowers would anyways. It is however a very touristy town with lots of visitors no matter what time you go. There are also lots of stairs and climbing to get to the Gardens, but if you can manage the climbing it would be a view you will never forget!

Sadly it rained the day that we visited Eze and the exotic garden but that didn't spoil our visit there. The gardens were beautiful and so well maintained, cost 6 euros each to get in and on a warm sunny day that is good value as you could take your time looking around, seating areas were available too. The views from the top were breathtaking and again, on a sunny day I'm sure would have looked even more amazing than it did when we went! We will definately be visiting again..this time on a sunny day..well worth a vist.
