“A nice visit”
Reviewed 4 August 2014 via mobile

We did a 15 minute tour by a friendly and knowledgable staff that could answer all my queries on perfume making. All for free. Unfortunately we missed he workshop opportunity to create our own perfume. At the end, we were led to store areas with many variety of products from perfume to soap - all make for a great souvenir. Overall, a must while visiting Grasse.

“A nice visit”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

We visited the factory during our tour of French Riviera Day Trip (Viator). A free factory tour around 15 min. with a well English speaking nice lady, with lots of information about perfume and soap making while you can see the operational process. The factory tour end at the big factory shop where each group was directed to a different seller. lots of options to buy but the prices are not low (as they say). Free WI-FI for teenagers to check-in.
Well wort to visit if you want to do something different.

“Wonderful visit”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

First of all, Grasse is a lovely little city in the mountains. We got there but train then took the bus (the one with the flowers on it, in front of the train station), that gets you right at the door. To go there by foot is for athletes only :-) If you are interested by perfumes, you must make that visit: you can see most of the steps in perfume and soap making.Theres a boutique at they end, of course, which takes care of the gifts you want to make to your family and friends !

“Worth a visit if you have some free time”
Reviewed 24 July 2014 via mobile

My husband and I werehere because our cruise ship docked at Cannes. We visited Cannes during the morning, but we still had extra time. The tourist information office suggested we take the local bus up to one of the perfume factories in Grasse. This we did, & we are happy we did so. We enjoyed the bus ride (45-60 minutes) as it gave us a chance to see both the local people and the scenery.

The tour of the factory was interesting (though not thrilling). The scent of the factory was delightful, and we enjoyed hearing and seeing how perfume is made. (Because we were there on Sunday not every part of the factory was open.) We also received better prices on perfume at the end of the tour. :-)

This was a free tour and definitely a nice way to see something different. (Even my good-hearted husband enjoyed it, although initially he agreed to do it for my sake.)

If we were to go again, we would love to attend the 2.5 hour session in which each person gets to mix his/her own individual scent. It costs about 90 euros, but you walk out with a 100 ml bottle of your own unique cologne. How neat is that???

“Enjoyable visit”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

If you are holidaying in the area of Cannes and want to spend a day in a picturesque area you have the option to drop in to Grasse, Le Gorge du Loup and Les Tourettes-sur -Loup. We visited Grasse on one morning, had a walk in the town and ended up in the Fragonard Parfumerie. We did a tour (free of charge) which lasted about 15-20 minutes. The tour was just right to obtain basic information about the perfume industry. After the tour we had the opportunity to smell and buy different perfumes and other fragrance articles in the Fragonard boutique. The boutique can be visited also without having the tour. I found some nice perfumes and gift my family members. The staff was informative and courteous. Enjoyable visit.
