Thanks to Tripadvisor we found this little gem off Place Aux Aires with all it's touristic restaurants, but well worth the small detour.

The interior is light and soft spoken. There are tables set on a terrace (roofed, not plain air) as well as inside.

We found the menu interesting and the selection of wines well balanced. As we had dinner with two children, 13 and 10, we found the options for them rather ordinary but very well cooked and served.

We did not try the set menus, although they seemed very well composed, but had three courses each. All of them very much to our liking.

The service was very kind and attentive.

The meal ended with a pleasant surprise when the check arrived: Less than €150 for two adults and two children, beverages included. And with that level of quality!

We would like to give our warmest recommendation to this establishment.

During the several weeks that I was in Grasse last summer, we ate at a number of very good restaurants, all particularly good value. (I am a New Yorker so I am used to high prices). My business associates kept talking about La Fleur de lys so one particularly dreary Saturday we all met up there. We were the only clients. The proprietress at first was very friendly as we were her only customers. When one of the party (she was Swiss and spoke perfect French) ordered only a small dish, she was berated by the proprietress and told that she wouldn't be able to stay in business if people came in and ordered the way she had. She walked away in a huff after her little tirade. The food, and drinks were both delicious but she did put a damper on the day...well sort of. We actually drank enough to find the whole thing funny and continued throughout the day to mimic her and laugh about it.

We arrived too early for service ( they don't start until 7pm ) but the owner made us feel very welcome, and we enjoyed a fab bottle of Rose in the early evening sunshine. Our meal was a delight and the decor and ambience of this restaurant make it very special indeed. Would highly recommend.

Restaurants in the area come and go, mainly due to Chefs ego's, high prices and average food. Lets hope this one, La Fleur de Lys stays the course

The place has recently opened and I wish them every success. The furnishing are very beautiful and very chic and a lot of thought has been put into every detail. A small example is a coat hook close to your table, that is a wrought iron pair of cats...you hang the coat on their tails.! Just one of many small details that make this place a lovely experience

Now the food. A wonderful selection that was beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. There is an A La Carte menu but I think the best option would be to go with one of the two fixed price menus. You will get three courses for 28 or 38 euros. With wine etc the total bill came to around 50 euros each. Good value based upon the quality of food, service and ambiance

No point in taking pictures of the food or explaining what was on the menus, as I am sure that they will change as the seasons change. Suffice to say, excellent choices available

Will be back for sure. Guess it will get busy in the summer, so I would suggest you book, as the locals get to know of this place.!!

Our thanks to the chef and his wife, who have a great little restaurant here.

With sat Nav or a smart phone with google maps, you will find this place without any problems. As you approach by car on the one way street, drive slowly as there is a secure public car park just before the restaurant on your left. Drive too fast and you will miss it. Enjoy!!
