costs 6.50 for about 35 minutes- travelling though the very narrow streets- where all the people in street restaurants wave to you- it's touristy but so what! we happened upon a wedding on our trip round. Commentary is in a choice of languages and not heavy but quite melodic musi cin the background- saw much more than we would have done if we had tried to walk around and helped us to select a restaurant. A must for me & you'll marvel at the skills of the driver

My son loves trains, so despite having driven around the outskirts of Grasse and finding it far less aesthetically pleasing than it's provencal counterparts, we parked and took the train. Around hairpin bends and through narrow alleys in a Grasse that was hidden away and was truly beautiful.

Thank you little train for not letting me miss this lovely town!

Although a bit touristy it gives you an idea of what is in the town. We had been a few years before and missed a lot of the town not realising apart from the perfumeries what else was there.

We had been around the Perfume Museum and decided to catch the little train to see the sights. It took about 40 minutes with on-board commentary which was very interesting. The train goes right through the centre of the town, past restaurants and up very tight, winding streets and with some excellent views over the mountains and so there were lots of good photo opportunities. It certainly saved on the legs as the town is quite hilly and hot (in August) so I would definitely recommend this as a relaxing break to your day in Grasse.

My son and I used this during a 10 day stay in the South of France, and it isn't really any different from the kind of road-train that you find in any other tourist attraction (though it is noticeably better than the awful one in Cannes). The views of Grasse that the route offers are quite nice, but in more than a few places the route runs through some of the towns more dilapidated & congested streets, with all of the more majestic sights easily accessible on foot anyway. Overall: mildly recommended.
