nice way to see the town. not as crowded as the big buses. We saw more this way than with a large bus that couldn't manuever the small streets of Nice.

A most enjoyable 35minute tour of the city, including some extraordinary narrow streets and tight turns - provides useful orientation to first time visitors like us. There is a very basic (multi lingual) commentary.
A recommended way to let 'le petit train' take the strain of the steep pavements, and provide a useful way of planning further excursions on foot!
The driver was very friendly and helpful, ensuring the buggy was stored safely so as not to obstruct our (fairly limited) space.

Went to grasses for the day decided to go on the train...very informative and not expensive at all and runs every hour except between 12 and 2pm...Fraser is very hilly so the train is nice so you can see things without going up and down hills...or see places that you would really like to go and visit afterwards.

Like most popular attractions getting on the Petit Train can be time consuming and you have to wait for the scheduled arrival/departure. With 4 persons to a seat it's a bit tight and feels overcrowded. But that's how it is maximize revenue and minimize comfort and thus taint the experience. The train does pass through some less traveled areas and there are some good views here and there.

I still cannot believe that at this time and age where everything is done in one click of a button, there are people who depend on tourism, who do not even bother to put a piece of paper stuck to a piece of wood, just to let their prospective customers know that the train is not in operation as it broke down. Totally UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!

Long story short, we were 4 adults and 1 child and we were there on the 11th August in the afternoon, hoping to get the 1300 hour train. The train was not there so we decided to wait. Waited for 45 minutes. At which point we went to ask for information from a lady who worked in a nearby snack shack. Only to be told it's broken.

Now I ask, am I unreasonable to expect a piece of paper stuck to a piece of wood saying the blessed train is broken? I know that things break down but I think it's common decency to not let people wait for nothing.... but apparently not for some.... as they say, common sense is not so common. So thank you for taking away precious time from my holiday and for disappointing my child. Well done indeed !!!!

PS I did check your website and it said nothing of the train being broken or not in service.
