We were a party of 14 fifty-somethings (OK, some a bit older) and we stayed at this wonderful b&b for a week in September. We had a simply brilliant time, having the place to ourselves. Suzie made us feel really welcome and she and her friend Gaye cooked for us on two nights. For one night we dined at Les 3 Garcons just down the road. The view from the front of the house is elevated and one can look down to the Med over Cannes. An excellent swimming pool bathed in hot sunshine surrounded by beautiful gardens provides a delightful haven. The house is very well equipped with all of the bedrooms having their own bathrooms. The large downstairs rooms were great for evening gatherings when the sun had gone down - great spaces to play guitars and chat. The local Monoprix supermarket delivered to the door and everything we needed was within walking distance. Grasse is a delightful working town with shady streets and ebullient cafes and shops. Plenty to do, but we mainly stayed around the pool and did our own thing. We had a brilliant week. Thank you, Suzie!

Room Tip: All the rooms are as good as each other. High standard.

We originally only planned to stay for an evening at La Rivolte. However, were quickly charmed by Suzies hospitality and the beauty of the Villa.... not to mention the pool and spectaular views, and end up there for always a week! Suzie makes a fabulous host and her obvious love of the villa and Cote d' Azur make it an unforgettable stay.

    Breakfast...
The continental breakfast Suzie puts on including home made preserves (instist upon her marmalade!) and freshly baked pastries are the perfect start to the day, which you can have either in the lovely farm house kitchen or out on the terrace.

    Pool and gardens.....
The heated pool is secluded, towels are provided along with lovely loungers and the perfect view! Surrounded by huge palms and olive trees in the established gardens. Overlooked only by the fabulous huge stone terrace.

    Rooms...
We stayed in Mimosa (at the top of the house) which is one of the smaller rooms. It was perfectly spacious enough- us girls had plenty of luggage and clothes- there was more than enough room. The views from up there are unmatched! The bathroom had a lovely shower and bath- it was spotless.
Each room is loveling and indivifually decorated to reflect the different flowers of the region. Suzie has thought of every last detail including the towels being washed with lavender water, and the smellys in each room coordinating with the room name. All the toiletries come for the nearby perfume factories.

    Location...
The centre of Grasse is only a 5 minute walk and has all the necessities such as a train station, bus staion, supermarket etc... Along with some beautifuful cobbled streets and lovely restuarants, as well as the afformentioned perfumieries. Grasse is the perfect place to base yourself for a Cote d'Azur holiday.

I image we weren't the 1st people to extend their stay and I doubt we will be the last! We will most certainly be back- enjoy!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are lovely and all have the same view.

We stayed for 4 nights over a long weekend at La Rivolte as a last minute booking. Within hours of making the booking Suzie had called to ask which room we would prefer and this fantastic service continued from a friendly welcome when we arrived, to lovely breakfasts (freshly baked croissants with the smell wafting up the stairs to greet us!), and useful advice about things to see and do.
The property and bedrooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. The pool is a perfect temperature and a good size/depth for swimming or just cooling off. There is Sky TV in a communal room along with books, DVDs and maps/guides galore.
We had a fabulous time at La Rivolte and will definitely be returning as soon as we possibly can as it's a perfect base for exploring the whole of the Cote D'Azur.

Highly recommend La Rivolte to everyone staying in Cote d'Azur.
Close to Cannes (10 minutes by car / 15 minutes by train), to Nice and to Antibes.
And definitely the best choice in Grasse!!

    Pros:
    - Amazing and huge territory with wonderful trees,
    - Cosy rooms,
    - Large pool,
    - Delicious breakfast.

    No Cons whatsoever!

We resided in La Rivolta for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. La Rivolta is a familiar and beautiful property with a fantastic view of the Cote d'Azur and Grasse, has a wonderful park with many old palms and olive trees and a big pool. Always friendly and helpful Susie, the good soul of the house made our stay a remarkabel experience. Here one must have been!

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet and have the fantastic view. Internet access is available in each room. The largest room with an own balkony is called "Jasmin".
