“Siblu Le Montourey”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2012

The site itself was clean, but very small ideal only for small children, nothing for teenagers to do on site. The Gamesroom consists of 1 x table football, The football pitch closed at 9pm and the kids couldn't even hang out there. The pool is very small with not a lot of sunbeds if you wanted a bed you had to be up early to get your towel on. The shop was rubbish only good for fresh bread (no salad or fresh meat or fresh milk) The bar was very expensive 5 Euro a pint and 6 Euro for a white coffee. Food in the restaurant was poor. The Communal BBQ area's weren't very nice. Very disappointed. On the plus side the staff were helpful and the region is stunning with plenty of places to visit.

Thank you for your message.
Le montourey is a small parc.
The shop is small and here only if you forgot something in the supermarket.
Sincerely yours

Another happy Siblu holiday - we stayed for 3 weeks in July and August, Our 6th Siblu holiday but our first stay at Le Montourey. It is the smallest of the Siblu sites we have visited (but about to become bigger in 2013) but has the same Siblu feel generated largely by the hard working and smiling dedicated entertainment team of Gaby, Sarah, Frankie, Camille and Leotar (not sure of his name spelling sorry). Our 3 daughters aged 14, 12 and 10 joined in with the Miss Montourey competition, the evening karaoke, the weekly talent show, the Var Matin day sweetie cake making and Sarah's daily pool sundances. My husband Mike, partnered by Gaby was also delighted to be the only englishman to reach the finals of the Petanque competition! The mobile home we stayed in was privately owned and clean and reasonably well equipped (An oven and a chopping board would have been a distinct advantage!). We ate at the onsite restaurant more than at previous sites as this one, although not cheap, had good food, especially the pizzas, very friendly service and a good vantage point for enjoying the evening entertainment or live music. Frejus and the markets are worth visiting, there are some lovely beaches locally and a day at AquaLand is a must, but get there early and choose a transfer day like Saturday for shorter queues. The downsides to Le Montourey are its small size, no Barracudas, smaller entertainment team etc.. which will not be an issue for next year with expansion already on the cards. We have already booked for next year, see you in July 2013 Martin!

Just come back after staying there for the 2nd time in 3 years, good things are small quiet site about 1 mile off the main road with plenty to visit within a few miles and very friendly site, and excellent caravans
Bad things, shop is very tiny and just good for bread and croissants ,swimming pool small but works cuz its a small site but next year you will have and extra prob 60or 70 caravans so i cant see the pool will be big enough with the extra 200 people you will have with the new caravans with an average 3 holiday makers in each
We really enjoyed our 2 weeks and we will prob be back in the area in the nx couple of years but with the extra 200 there will be on the site we will got back to Columbie up the road which had an Olympic size pool although it is on a slope not nice and flat like Le Montourey .Also the wi-fi which i paid 40 euro for is very weak and trying to watch the olympic was frustrating because it kept freezing as did youtube but it worked ok for just surfing the web, couldnt understand why i had 3 bars for strength on the net but had 5 bars showing from Columbie which was about 2 miles away

Thanks for having taken the time to review our park, we really do appreciate it.
We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future and would like you to know that we are extending our pool area for the 2013 season, to include a third pool and a larger sunbathing area, also we have installed 3 new WIFI masts to help increase coverage on site.
Thanks again for your comments and we hope to see you again soon on Le Montourey!

We have really enjoyed our holiday at Siblu and wanted to say a big thank you to the pirate club team. My son felt totally out of his depth as he speaks very little french but the 'pirate' team made him feel really welcome and made a big fuss of him when they saw him around the campsite. He felt like a VIP! These staff members can never clock off as the always seemed to have children following them like ducklings, especially Riota (sorry about the spelling!). Led by Gaby the entertainment team work really well together and obviously enjoy what they do, we particularly loved the cabaret show!

Thanks again and we are looking forward to seeing you all next year.

Lovely holiday at Siblu. We did have trouble finding it sat nav would not give us directions, after an hour of driving aroun Frejus we found the ofice du tourisme and the directed is. The road is not good which takes you to the camp and sign posts to camp very poor. Campsite is lovely with great activities for the children and evening entertainment although most of it in french not english. Accomadation was fab we staed in a 3 bedroom Elegance with air-conditioning and terrace. Security driving around all the time felt very safe and the staff we very helpful. The swimming pool gets very busy so sunbeds are very limited, we used to go about 1pm as seemed quieter then, so we could get a lounger. gets very busy about 4pm onwards. Very impressed with Lifeguards and cleanliness of pool area. But the tiled floor is VERY DANGEROUS our little boy age six fell backward bumped his head and had concussion, saw this happen a lot to the children not good wonder when something more serious may happen.

Room Tip: choose the elegance as the lower option is very basic.

Thank you for having chosen Le Montourey for your holiday this year and for having taken the time to review our park.

I'm so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us here in Fréjus and hope that you managed to see some of the surrounding area also.

siblu works incredibly hard to ensure the safety of its guests so I was pleased to notice that our security team and on-site staff made you feel both welcome and safe. I also noted your concerns regarding our pool complex. We installed new 'Slip-resistant' tiling at the beginning of 2011 as we wanted to give the pool's beach area a fresher look. These tiles are specifically designed for swimming pools and as they are designed to be slip resistant, we had hoped that this would be an excellent safety feature.

In response to a few trips and falls and customer comments, we closed our pools on 4th August 2012 so that we could add another resin agent to the tiles that would further reduce the risk of slips.

Our pools have re-opened and are as popular as ever. Our life-guards are always on hand to assist anyone and to ensure that people have the most fun possible in an environment that is as safe as possible.

We look forward to welcoming you to Le Montourey again in the future.

This was our first trip to the area and we hope to return again soon.

The site was small which really suited us and enabled the children to have lots of freedom. The entertainment staff were fantastic and really made the holiday special. We would like to say a big thank you to Frankie and the team for all their hard work and fun!

We felt the pool, slides and shop/restaurant area closing throughout the day was a bit inhibiting and not advertised anywhere prior to our stay. In addition the pool area was slippy and we witnessed several accidents during our time at the site.

These things aside we as a family had a fantastic holiday and would recommend it to anyone with younger children.

Thank you so much for reviewing our lovely park here in Fréjus.

We're pleased that you chose siblu and that you appear to have had an excellent holiday!

Our entertainments team work incredibly hard to provide a varied programme for both our younger and more mature guests, so I'm pleased that your children were able to take advantage of that and we look forward to welcoming you to our holiday park on another occasion.

I was pleasantly surprised when we 1st arrived at Le Montourey, our mobile home was lovely (though a lower standard than the other one our party was staying in..we had paid the same I might add). The pool area is lovely and the staff very friendly.
This is not a site for older children, the kids club is small and very limited activities, our children were fine however and I loved the fact they could have so much freedom because the site is small.
The slides (and pool) area is extremely dangerous; our son had 2 serious falls , even when you walk it is still very slippy!
Our main issue was the pool closing everyday between 12 and 1.30 and then the slides closed between 1.30 and 2.30!!..the bar/restaurant also closed at 2 so there is no chance of a drink by the pool!
Having said all that, we did have a lovely time (weather fantastic), the area is beautiful; Frejus old town, St Maxime and Port Grimaud are defiantly places to visit.
Special thanks to Francky and the entertainment staff for keeping our kids so happy and to Matthieu in the shop for allowing our son to practice his French religiously every morning, when ordering the croissants!
We have booked already for 2013 and we are hopeful that as good a time will be had!

We were really pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you loved our park as much as we do.
