I would definitely recommend this camp site. We booked directly with club colombier. The reception staff were lovely and all spoke English. There is a land train which would can catch around the site. It is a bit hilly but did not hamper us getting around the site. The kids used the kids club and made some friends and they even went to the evening kids disco which they enjoyed. Us adults used the spa which we had to pay for but we enjoyed the pool, gym and jacuzzi there.

The location was good and we had day trips to St Tropez, Nice, Vence and Cannes. Not sure what we would have done for 12 nights without the car with us though.

There are 2 restaurants on site. Food good at each of them. There is also an on site petite casino shop.

Frejus itself is great and the kids loved seeing the boats at the Marina. The sandy beach is also good there as is the nearby St Raphael.

If you're looking for a well run, clean campsite in the sun with a bit of luxury, this may be the one for you. We will look at booking again soon.

Dont know where to start ,turned up at the site with suit cases no car so i thought we would get escorted to our caravan No No .after checking in they headed us to the eurocamp office.Yes you go from one place to another in 30 degree heat not nice with your cases.waited and waited and no one came so i had to go and find my caravan our selfs not good at all .Please if you go on the train like we did and want to walk outside Watch the road right outside the site there is no pavement .you are right onto the traffic very very dangerous if you have kids a no no.Resturant very pricey for drinks and food, supermarket on site good bread but things very pricey.there are not many people that speak english. No welcome party or get together.the walk to the beach is a joke not for lazy people.i LOVE WALKING SO THE HOUR AN A HALF WALK DID NOT BOTHER ME but if you can not handle that stay on site .

We took lots of photos & they speak for themselves, this was not a good experience for us as a family, I wish we had used our valuable time & stayed somewhere else as Frejus was very nice.

There was good & bad:

Good
1. Mini clubs (although our Daughter was the only English speaking out of about 40 kids), staff were helpful
2. Clean pools
3. Eurocamp Reps were very helpful
4. Circus, there was a travelling circus at the campsite & it was excellent

Bad
1. Lots of rules around all facilities, no drinks allowed around pool, long walk to pool bar through disinfectant & up steep slopes. Other rules included no swimming shorts for men!
2. Pink cushion area displayed in the brochures is the smoking area & it is used to the max as the area is blue with disgusting thick smoke, no ice-creams or food allowed in this huge area, but they invite kids in by placing the games tables here.
3. This is also the only bar area as the inside area is just a restaurant & it is frowned upon if you try to just go in for a drink. The one evening we were able to sit in pink cushion area (not too many smokers around), they decided to play a full Prince CD full of swear words & didn't seem too interested when we complained about our 8 year old having to listen to this.
3. No English menus in the restaurant, they had to get the supervisor to translate for us - really embarrassing.
4. Evening shows - all French
5. Prices too higher than a Marriott €9.50 per alcoholic cocktail, €5.90 non-alcoholic, €7.50 for a smoothie, €10 for a coffee & cake
6. We had to make our own beds when we arrived, which was difficult as the rooms were so tiny
7. Campsite shop was insufficient for the amount of people needing groceries & the prices were very high, not just a little higher, but about 60% higher than a Casino mini market in Frejus. Plus the shop smelled of sewage & was full of ants
8. A Three stage check-in with Reception (which took about an hour) & then up the road with Eurocamp & then down the road to get a wrist pass (which has to be worn on your wrist & cannot go on your ankle as it states in the campsite rules!)
9. The camsite is very loud in the night, kids playing football & people having late night BBQs/drinking games etc
10. Esprit Air Con is only in lounge & not in the bedrooms/'bathroom

It is too far to walk to the beach or town from the campsite, which is difficult to find.

Room Tip: Do a lot of research first

We holidayed recently in the campsite and stayed with Selectacamp.

The service from the Selectacamp staff was great, we had an issue with the accommodation and the site reps attended to it swiftly and efficiently.

The site itself was of a very high standard. The lagoon pool was very enjoyable although always very busy.

We used the 'Balenospa' pool and jacuzzis on several days. Although it did cost extra to use this facility we really enjoyed it.

The on site supermarket was great for fresh croissants and baguettes and offered a wide range of grocery items and wines.

The wifi access is a bit limited. The staff at reception are extremely helpful.

The reps organised a visit to Monte Carlo for us with a local company Riveria Tours. The day was great, well organised and good value for money.

Saint Tropez was well worth the visit if only to see the super yachts in the harbour. The local coffee shops and ice cream parlours were not as expensive as I was expecting.

Overall the area is well worth a visit, the campsite is clean and modern. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I would certainly go back again.

We were first- time campers travelling with a 4 and 2 year old and booked through eurocamp.
We flew to nice and hired a car- the journey was much more straightforward than we had anticipated and it was great to have a car to explore the area.
We stayed in a 2 bed esprit and it was immaculately clean, well equipped and had ample room for the 4 of us. Only complaint was that the actual pitch could have done with a tidy up but that is a very minor complaint.
The eurocamp staff were great, very helpful and friendly.
Site is clean and well run. It is hilly as others have mentioned but the shuttle bus is great.
Pools are lovely, clean and plenty of loungers. They aren't massive though and more suited to the kids playing than actually going for a swim. Slides were great fun. The children's play park is excellent.
Restaurants were definitely expensive but the food was good, and the whole region seems expensive for food/ drink. Lots of supermarkets/ markets nearby so you can easily save money by cooking/ BBQ ing.
We took a day trip to st tropez- not great for kids, nice for a couple of hours and to see it but not that much to do.
Lunar land was great fun- discount cards available for park reception. Some rides are cash only so we were stuck with a load of tokens at the end of the night but otherwise we had a fantastic night here.
Some nice restaurants around the port at frejus but be warned if you are wanting to done early with kids they don't open until 7pm.
Overall this was a very relaxed and enjoyable holiday and we are already talking about a return visit.
Negatives-
poor wifi coverage as previously mentioned by others
We had requested adjacent sites with our friends but weren't able to get this. In fairness it was never guaranteed by eurocamp and I don't think in the end it made any difference to the enjoyment of our holiday.
