We were a family of 4 staying in a 6 bed room for 2 weeks. Kitchen area did not have a kettle or toaster and there is a dishwasher in the space where there would normally be an oven. An oven would have been a lot more useful. There is also no kitchen workspace apart from the draining board. Bathroom was nice but didn't have a toilet in there, this is separate which is great if someone is in the shower however there is no sink in the separate toilet so you then have to wash your hands in the kitchen sink! Beds were uncomfortable and there was no changing of sheets or fresh towels after the first week which meant we had the same ones for 2 weeks. Would be better if these were changed weekly. Would be great if this hotel had a small bar too as you need a car to get anywhere so ended up having a drink once we got home.

We were a group of 5 people staying in the "8 people room" (3 bed rooms, kitchenette /w fridge and freezer, shower, bathroom and bathtub). The room could technically accommodate 8 people, but that would require using the kitchen/living room area to convert the sofa into a bed.

The kitchen had all necessary equipment for our purposes, though an oven might have been nice. There is a stove /w 4 cooking plates, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter), toaster, water boiler and microwave. The living room also had a small flat screen TV with HDMI input (no cable though), etc.

The place has a really nice and calm pool area which we took advantage of. There is also free WiFi by the lobby (with small tables and couches where you can sit).

The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the highway and a 2 minute drive from the local Spar (small supermarket) where we bought fresh baguettes every morning. We found that €35 per person and night to be worth our stay. Each room had air conditioning which we were very grateful for.

Room Tip: A bit off if you don't have a car. Plenty of parking space.

We spent 2 nights there in June. The apartment did not feel clean and furniture was in need of updating. Beds were not very comfortable. The kitchen did not have a sponge or soap to wash dishes. Bathroom was ok although there was only 1 toilet roll for seven people. The swimming pool was fantastic. WIFI is only available in reception area. There is Parking on site. The apartment was affordable at around 100 euro per night.

Large and clean room completed with a good cooking with all utilities. The pool is not so large, but quite good in particular for the baby. Wifi is only in the reception area. The staff is kindly but the reception is open only up to 6. A bit far from the center of Frejus but well connected by bus and by car. Good formulas for family large like mine!

We booked this hotel quite late. Just 100 euro per night in high season is quite a good deal for the Cote d'Azur. And we were not disappointed. The hotel is is very anonymous though. Long corridors, reception for only a few hours per day, and there's no restaurant or bar.

The room/apartment included a very fine kitchen, good bed. It was clean and inlcuded bed sheets and cleaning afterwards. The pool was clean and located in a nice garden.

I would never stay here longer than a few days, but overall it was good for us.

This hotel is now called the Resid'hotel Tour de la Mare. We booked the trip via the Resid'hotel website, and were very disappointed with our stay.

I have never stayed at a hotel, anywhere, where I am expected to make my own bed on arrival, and clean the apartment in its entirety on departure. On check-in you are presented with linen and surrender a deposit of 300 Euro which you are told will be forfeited should you not conform to their terms and conditions. Of course, if you refuse then you cannot stay and would forfeit your booking fee.

Nowhere (that I can see) in the terms and conditions online, or in the booking details, does it state that this is the case and it cast an immediate pall over the stay. The terms and condition do say that a flat fee deposit is payable, but nothing about cleaning, bed-making etc.. Imagine the last thing you have to do at the end of your vacation is to clean your apartment from top to bottom. Not good.

We are an active family, and like to make the most of our vacation. Imagine how surprised we were to be told by the hotel manager that we must not leave our apartment before 10am as we would disturb other guests who were trying to lie-in?

In terms of the facilities, the tennis court has now been built over, and the swimming pool has been halved in size, with no toddler-friendly area.

The hotel is more like an over-priced hostel - amazingly the hotel website awards itself four smiley-faces (whatever that means) and Expedia gives it four stars.

Not a good experience.
