A nice hotel, good food, pleasant garden But my first night I wanted to use my iPad in the room, no internet connection !Called reception, they tried to reboot etc, still no connection, unless you went out of the room ! So thought I would watch Tv as they said they had BBC 1 and 2 , could not change channels and then could not even turn off the Tv ! Had to unplug it.
Next morning saga continued, until women who had set up wi-fi heard of problem. She came to room but after trying everything thought the router was at fault, she obtained another one and changed it, it then worked. Very very slow so much so that was impossible to watch anything .
Then the Tv, BBC channel numbers had changed but information in room guide not updated, then when she found new channels only got a blue screen for all BBC channels. Technician being called.
A four star hotel should be equipped for modern living. I have never experienced so many problems, which as I write have not been resolvedMore
