“Magnifique”
Reviewed 14 July 2014 via mobile

What can I say about this culinary gem that hasn't been said by other reviewers?
Only that having booked our first meal there meant we were utterly spoilt and knew there was no point searching elsewhere.
The three-course 25 euro evening menu is a true bargain - as well as the highly imaginative staples, the chef would introduce a 'special ' starter or main course, keeping the diner on their toes.
Madame is fluent in English and excels in her front of house role, never missing a trick when it comes to customers' needs, ably assisted by young waitress Lauren.
It is difficult to single out a favourite dish - the lamb kebab with meat so meltingly tender was one; the cassolette of fish with its prawns and scallops in a zingy Thai-style sauce is another.
Added to this is an emphasis on local wines to complement your meal as you gaze out over the port and Mediterranean - priceless.

“What a find”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

We booked having read the excellent reviews on tripadvisor, and weren't disappointed.

The food and service are exceptional, with a choice of 4-5 starters, mains and desserts on the €25 euro menu, and a la carte options as well. Everything sounded wonderful and certainly everything that we had (and shared) tasted sublime.

It is popular and many people were turned away without reservations, so do book in advance, its worth the effort.

“Best lunch in cote d'azur”
Reviewed 28 June 2014 via mobile

Came here with my husband after reading the reviews on TA. We're certainly not disappointed. The owners were lovely... The food - delicious (very provençale and the best we had in cote d'azur)... And the price - very very reasonable (we took the £15 lunch menu, which is an absolute bargain considering how much the other restaurants in the region are charging)!! It was a bit tricky to get a reservation - calls went to answer phone every time. But we sent an email and got a confirmation within a day. Highly recommended!
