Having made our way quite slowly through the afternoon traffic in St Rafael/Fréjus to get from the motorway to the hotel, we managed to park in the one remaining space outside the Mercure. Reception was friendly and helpful and the room fine. Dinner was served briskly and efficiently and the food was much as one would expect from a chain hotel. The location, right next to the marina area of Fréjus, gave the opportunity for an evening stroll by the water and the yachts. Breakfast was well-organised, although whether it was worth the 18€ per person is debatable.

This is clearly an hotel where most guests are there for the spa facilities. We did not use these on an overnight stop en route to Italy and, in view of the traffic congestion between the motorway and Fréjus port, not a particularly good choice for such a stop.

This is a decent hotel with well appointed rooms, we'd booked a city facing room and the sea view upgrade on the day was expensive so we didn't bother.thought this was a bit short-sighted of them as the hotel was nowhere near full. The car park is awful, underground and dingy and we were asked what car we were driving. We told them it was a Megane and they promptly allocated us a parking space which would be cosy for a smart car! For €10 a night to park, I expect to be able to get out of the car. We radically chose another space and were met with some disapproval on return to reception. They need to sort this out. That said, our room was spacious clean and well appointed with tea/ coffee and bottled water provided. We went into the harbour for dinner and there are some great restos and bars. Didn't try the hotel for dinner, but has breakfast and it was good, but at €18 it should be. The spa is nicely laid out and well appointed, I had a massage which was ok .

Room: The room generally and its hygiene standard is not worth 4 stars (3 stars or 3.5 max.).
Spa: If you book a deal including a 30min massage look that they don't just give you a 30min 'hydromassant bath' (they tried with us, but as I had printed the booking confirmation I could easily switch it back to the promised treatment). The massage was ok. To go swimming in the indoor warm saltwater pool you first need to get a bathcap from the reception of the spa center (I got one for free), though the pool is not big but the jets at the sides and in the middle of the pool are nice. I did not use the hammam (strange smell).
Restaurant: Good breakfast buffet and good food for dinner, though there could be more choices on the menu.
The staff was always friendly.
The sea and beach are lovely!

don't rely on the car park - it's smelly, dingy, almost unnavigable and expensive.
staff really helpful,
dining area like a canteen, food at breakfast not great.
handily-placed for the marina, fair walk to the start of the promenade and to the main part of the town

Just returned home rom a relaxing weekend at the Mercure in Frejus. The port area was very quiet with very few shops and restaurants open, all seemed to be getting ready for the start of the summer season.
Chose this as it is part of Accor group and have stayed at other Mercure hotels and always been happy.
Parking was not a problem, managed to park directly outside the hotel for free every evening. Staff on reception were plesant and helpful. Booked harbour view room which was fairly large with lovely view, on 3rd floor, beds were comforatable and room was clean and quiet. Didn't use spa or swimming pool so can't comment.
Breakfast was a buffet; good choice of hams, bread, cheese etc together with a hot selection of scrambled eggs, american pancakes, bacon and little sausages. Dined in the restaurant one evening, good selection on menu at reasonable price. Food was served quickly and tasted great.
Would recomend this hotel as a great base to explore the local area, suggest that you would need a car as it is a long way from the old town.

Room Tip: Hotel is on a small roundabout, would suggest a room on high floor with either sea view or harbour v...

The hotel is located in the heart of Fréjus Harbour.
Easily to be reached by bus (Bus line 6)
Equiped for Thalasso including a free accessible heated swimming pool (inside) and one outside.
Staff is very friendly; relaxing style to serve the customers.
Breakfast room / restaurant are in new trendy style
Room had a terrace.
Each day, a new menu is presented (choice of three meals) - limited but sufficient choice of local good quality wines - very good price / value ratio.
Note: the hotel is at walking distance (2 km) from the city center of Fréjus and St-Raphael. There is a large walking area at the BAN natural parc just outside the hotel.
