I returned to stay at the Hotel Josse for the second year in a row. I couldn't wait to go back. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the position is great - far enough out of the centre to be peaceful but close enough to walk there without any trouble. It is also across the road from the beach. The rooms are the cleanest hotel rooms I have stayed in and they are big. The wifi works beautifully, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are big and the view from the sea view rooms is wonderful. The hotel provides excellent value for money while being comfortable and very pleasant to be in. I'll be back next year.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room to get a balcony and a view of the beach. The suites are also great, they are...

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Josse in early July. We booked a deluxe room with a sea view (one floor above ground level). We enjoyed our three nights there.
Pros: Some on-site parking including a few spaces in a garage (for a fee) - great for high season when the street parking is close to non-existent. Nice modern room with comfortable bed and a small balcony. Quiet at night. Directly across the street from a lovely sandy beach. About 10 minutes walking to Vieux Antibes. Lovely terrace for breakfast. A couple of good restaurants nearby. Great friendly helpful staff who speak at least some English.
Cons: Room was small though well appointed. Street in front of the hotel is very busy during the day. Pricey breakfast for what was served. No elevator so most rooms are only accessible via a flight of stairs (a staff person helped us with our luggage).

Room Tip: If you want a view of the sea, pay for a deluxe room which is one floor above ground level.

I had a lovely stay in this hotel. For me, the best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were very welcoming and always helpful - much more so than in most hotels I have stayed at. The location is also good: a short walk to town, and the beach is just across the road.

Decent hotel, great location across the street from the beach. Simple but clean, reasonably tastefully done but not quite stylish--Think of it as a moderately upscale beach motel. 6 minutes by foot to Antibes. Has on-site parking, which is a huge plus. Good overall value, friendly front desk.

We booked the Hotel Josse in Antibes quite by accident. The room was large and airy, the shower room beautifully appointed and the servicing of the room was excellent. The staff were very helpful, spoke good English and the hotel was ideally situated for beaches and walks. We would return there tomorrow given the chance and really did not want to leave. Free wifi as well.

Room Tip: Choices of deluxe rooms with balcony and sea view or lower level room which was more than adequate.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel by serendipity while driving en route from Tuscany to Paris. Thus, our stay was for one night only. But, we felt ourselves lucky to have stumbled upon this hotel (we saw its rooftop sign.) The hotel clearly was recently and thoroughly modernized - the public areas and the rooms have a very modern decor and it all works. Clearly, both a lot of money and thought went into this update. At any rate, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room "worked" wonderfully. The reception clerk was extremely helpful, both in terms of our stay but also in his recommendations and help in finding us the type of restaurant that we wanted (our stay was at the beginning of November and the very end of the "season" for this hotel and the area generally and many restaurants were already closed for a long break.

Room Tip: The staff gladly showed us rooms in several price ranges and that was quite helpful.

During the early 2000 we visited the Josse Hotel many times as we were in process of buying property in Cagnes Sur Mer. The staff were always welcoming and helpful, gotta bottkenof wine ? They offered a couple of glasses, a corkscrew and bucket of ice.
On one of our last stays there I left a gold bracelet in the room, by the time we returned to the UK there was an email waiting, telling me they had my bracelet.
I doubt if there are many more hotels where this would happen.
