What can I say about this quaint Band B. The house is enchanting , the breakfasts are fantastic with all the different themes and colors, but, what makes this place special is the incredible Barbara. She would drive us to the train station when she could , she drove us to dinner one evening, arranged a driver for us one day ,and ,generally tried to take care of all our needs. She truly is a gem who cares about people.

This is one of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts we have ever experienced. The attention to detail is unbelievable. From the moment you walk into your room to each and every morning's breakfast! We had the pleasure of spending four nights at the Maison duTamisier and found it to be simply enchanting. It's located in a very private area close to the sea and Juan les Pins, this special home is filled with style, art, passion and creativity. Barbara is an incredible host and her staff are equally accomodating. I would not hestiate to recommend this home as the perfect place to stay in the area. The rooms are just beautifully decorated and appointed - something out of a decorating magazine. Breakfast is served with a daily changing "colour" theme of food and table settings which are artfully presented each morning in the dining or outdoor eating areas. The garden and lovely pool are a perfect addtion to add to your experience. Savour every moment, there are very few private homes that are able to provide such a wonderful and quality experience for travellers.

Quite simply, this was the most fantastic setting for a holiday in the South of France.
Barbara is an incredible host - lots of little touches that include the fact that she picked us up from the bus stop, the breads and preserves were home made, the breakfast table on the terrace had a new theme every day, she gave us a quick tour of great places to eat in Juan les Pins... everything really!
We stayed in the Zen room and it was beautiful - quiet, calm and beautifully decorated and furnished - and with a sea view. The pool was a delight and the gardens were the perfect place to just relax.
We will definitely be returning to this oasis!

Room Tip: I can't imagine there's such a thing as a 'bad' room here.... they are all individua...

We are a Spanish couple who stayed at La maison du Tamisier at the beginning of March. The house is beautiful and the room full of warm and delicate touches, like bathrobes, hats and rose petals left on the huge bed... Breakfasts are a feast, both for the stomach and the eyes, since the artistic, original and charming Barbara (the owner) lays it out in a different colour and manner everyday: pain au chocolat, croissants, bread, homemade jams, cheese, sweets, etc., everyday different and everyday delicious.

The area is beautiful and there are lots of things to see and do. But, being in France, one of the most important things you can do is eat and drink, and Barbara was a genius in this field: she enthusiastically recomended and even called wonderful little restaurants to make reservations for us in the village.

The owners, Barbara and Pierre, could not be nicer if they tried. Our rental car broke down Saturday night, when we were about to go out for dinner, and Pierre gave us a ride to the restaurant, said we just had to think about having a good time and solved everything for us. When we arrived after dinner, the breakdown van was taking the car away and the next morning the rental company brought us another car. No five star hotel would have done it as they did.

We can just say thank you and we will definitely return if we ever go back to the area.

The moment we arrived at La Maison du Tamisier, we were greeted with a warm welcome, and shown to our lovely room, facing the Mediterranean. Barbara is gifted with artistic abilities that are showcased throughout her home, gardens and guestrooms. The bed was decorated with fresh flower petals, two straw hats, and robes (for the pool). Breakfast was delightful; healthy, and filling. Great location; quiet street, but close to the beautiful sea, restaurants and shopping. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this B&B, and would definitely return.
