“A good all rounder”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014

We ate lunch there and the menu was varied and the club sandwich to die for. We also had drinks on the beach at night and it was a great location with good service

“AMAZING!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

We had eaten here a few times and loved it so we decided to have our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here, We had over 40 people and the staff were very attentive from start to finish. The venue itself is set in a magnificent setting- right on the beach. The food was TO DIE FOR! We had lobster and then the Sea Bass was delicious! Laurence, Jean Jean, and Kelly were fantastic. Laurence was in contact with us from the second we planned the dinner there. The service was very personal and the set up was beautiful. We will be back! Thank you for making our event so special.

“Best meal I had in juan les pins!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

I was at La Ruban Bleu on Thursday 26th June 2014 with my wife. We had noticed this place when passing a few times and dicided to give it a go. We both had a great meal I had the tagliatelle homard et crab which was fantastic and my wife had fillet of sea bream with a citrus butter sauce which was equally as good as mine. We had the 2nd cheapest bottle of rosé which was lovely, far better than any rubbish you can get in any supermarket in U.K. The place was really busy so the service was a little slow towards the end as it filled up. Each waiter has a section of the restaurant that they cover so it is a lot to ask from one person when the place is full to capacity that is my only negative point. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends or family. And as for some of the previous comments towards the menu not being in English, try and learn a little French before you go to France maybe ? The waiters will go through it all with you in English especially if you make an effort to speak a little French.
La ruban bleu is well worth shot. Give it a go!!!

“Too busy no style or customer service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014

Just dined there this evening. Table OK. Too busy worrying about the family event (drinks etc). Finally managed to attract some attention to get menus. Weren't offered the specials of the day. We both selected a Prawn/Wok meak from the main menu. Food was OK -- bread turned up after the main. Rose was fine but no attention from the staff. Ordered some cheese but not thought thought that we may like some red wine or coffee.
Don't take Amex (always a sign that the management are cheap) . . . so walk a few metres further along the board walk to the next restaurant -- absolutely perfect !

“Poor food, dismissive service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

We've been to Juan-les-Pins several times but this is the first time we've visited this place and I suspect it will be the last. We had lunch and fancied an omelette, some frites and some wine. I ordered ham and cheese, my wife ordered cheese and we shared a bowl of fries. The wine (which was good) came immediately but so did the fries. One (slightly undercooked but adequate) omelette came after about ten minutes by which time the fries were cold and the waiter said that the other omelette needed to be recooked because the chef had forgotten the cheese. But when it arrived it had been not been freshly cooked again but just refried with some added cheese. It was pretty gross. There is no point complaining here because as others have observed nothing happens – complaints are met with a dismissive shrug. This place has nothing to recommend it apart from the view but there are many restaurants around here with a similar view and much better food and customer service.
