“offering first class service accommodation and value”
Reviewed 28 August 2012

We were in Napoule for a wedding and spent 6 days in this hotel. Our son and his baby joined us for 4 days.
This a a people place where everybody is there to make your stay a success. And it was. The front desk, concierge  and pool people were charming and most helpful.
The rooms are clean comfortable and well appointed with constant service to ensure they are tidy and one has an adequate supply of towels etc. Wifi works as does the free valet parking.
Any request large or small is immediately catered to. Specifically my wife sprained her ankle and the staff ensured she had a constant supply of ice.
There is a charming elegance to the public areas with interesting art.
The pool is super plenty of towels.
An added bonus is its superb location, near the beach golf course shopping and restaurants with pleasant rural walks nearby.
I can find no criticism only praise and would recommend it without hesitation as offering first class service accommodation and value, vastly superior to the Pullman which we visited.

We booked this hotel, and what a lovely surprise it was. the rooms are decorated french style white grey and pale blue very pretty. The bathrooms are a little complicated with seperate toilets etc but very clean and lovely. the setting is magical and the staff were so helpful. Pool are although small is very clean and relaxing. breakfast is lovely and croissants huge and to die for give it a go.....complimentary fruit poolside, valet parking who might I say was a lovely gentleman and most helpful giving us directions, and always spoke would definitley go back to this superb hotel. Couldn't believe they are renovating agin in the autumn putting even newerer bathrooms in apparently..

Room Tip: We stayed in a river room room on 3rd floor so can't really comment on others but was lovley

Dear customer,
we would like to thank'you very much for having taken some of your time to post a comment on our property and following your visit. Indeed our property is little and what we most haim is to make it magical for our clients well-being. This is why, as rightly said by you, we will renovate all bathrooms this coming winter along with some parts of the property avoiding to destroy the saoul.
This beautiful " Bastide" Provencale will look like a real gem in a near future.
I will convey you appreciation to the entire staff who will be delighted to learn that you have enjoyed your stay with us.
With all best wishes to you and looking forward to welcoming you back.

Fantastic friendly staff, best service i've ever encountered, brilliant location, good breakfast, superb value for money, in short. Highly reccomendable (Even though the baths need a renovation) they even had free valet parking, and complimentary fresh fruit pool side.

I spent 5 nights at this hotel with my family. ill try to make this review as simple as possible !
1- The hotel's location is great, facing the beach.
2- The room: Looks like this hotel has been newly renovated with a great modern touch. The sheets and the towels look brand new and are changed daily. My room had a small balcony where u can relax over a glass of wine or sunbath on the beach chairs. the ac works great, thing u would look for if ur travelling in july !
3- Cleanliness: the room is cleaned daily. In fact, when I go to any hotel I always leave a small hair pin on the floor or the carpet to check if it’ll be noticed and at this hotel it was always picked up!
Another nice thing I noticed in this hotel is that the room service passes by ur room twice a day. In fact when the towels used in the morning were always changed by the afternoon, our bed cover was removed and they left us each night a small pastry bag :)
4- The choice at the breakfast buffet was good. It’s served at the restaurant of the hotel that offers a really good French cuisine.
This hotel also had a pool, perfect if u are travelling with kids! We also had pool cards that allowed us to have clean beach towels and made us avoid sending our own to the dry cleaning!
We didn’t have a car but we noticed a private parking for the hotel.
The staff was always smiling and ready to help.

Room Tip: choose the rooms with the private beach chairs on the balcony and facing the sea !

As one who is on his 3rd or 4th visit can I give you my honest unbiased opinion.
Let me say straight away that it's one of my favourite hotels. The hotel is in a great position on the Promenade overlooking the Marina with friendly helpful staff. The food is not Michelin Star but it is more than adequate served in a delightful dining area with a particularly attractive terrace.
The rooms are in the process of being upgraded and those which have been completed are attractively decorated with good quality fittings and functioning air con. Some of the rooms which have not been upgraded leave a little to desired and there are more baths than showers!
If you are looking for a bland modern hotel then this is not for you but for a pleasant hotel with character L'Ermitage ticks most of the boxes.

Room Tip: Ask for a refurbished room

Dear Sir,

we wish to thank'you very much for your comments and concerning your stay in May.

We are delighted to hear that you have enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to welcoming you back in a near future.

By this time, the noise from the street will be a bad souvenir as we will be undertaking some major renovation this coming winter including double glazing sound proof windows for each appartment and the restaurant.

With all best wishes.

Lovely hotel, staff were great, the rooms a good size and great bathrooms,we had a pleasant view from our room overlooking the marina.Valet parking. Very near lovely beaches, great walkways to other beaches all pristine sandy and groomed, the water temp divine, but I am from N.Z. The pool was clean and good loungers and umbrellas. Beware the cost of the breakfast, over the top price wise, pop down to a local cafe for a fraction of the price. Easy drive to Canne, St Raphael, where you can ferry to St Tropez, or drive down to St Maxime its only about 10mins on the ferry to St Tropez from here and ferries run about every 20 mins maybe only in tourist season.

Room Tip: We just turned up and asked to see the rooms, ask for a balcony thats nice you can have a glass of wi...
