It's the third time we stay in this hotel and it has become a favourite place to spend our summer holiday. It's close to the train station, to the sandy beach, the castle, the supermarket, the patisserie and to the restaurants, all within 10 min walk. The owners speak English.
I recommend breakfast at the patisserie, great choice of savoury tarts, cakes, outdoor seating, coffee and tea served. You can buy your own food and ask the owners to keep it in the fridge for you, and have dinner at the tables outdoors, they will give you plates and cutlery.
You can visit a lot of the Cote D'Azur by train from the station nearby (Monaco, Antibes, Cannes), or take the 20A bus to Aix en Provence for a 2h ride from the Gare Routiere (where you get to by local bus 20). There is also a great, massive shop for paints, crafts, beads, papier mache, videos, books and games on the 20 bus route, called Cultura (Les Tourades station). I recomend it to creative people or children.
Great value, great comfort, great location, and very quiet and clean, with nice decor. What more can you ask for?
PS: I would avoid the hot months, I heard it can be quite hot and I heard there is no AC.
