There are lots of italian trattorias to choose from in Menton, just one mile from the Italian border, and most of them are fine, if not great. We really like "Al Vecchio Forno" because in our opinion it serves the best thin-crust, wood-fired pizza around. The fresh pasta are equally wonderful, service is quick and attentive, and prices reasonable. All around a great, casual choice for italian food in Menton.
