“Home Away From Home”
Reviewed 14 July 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Loved our stay at Le Pamela. The apartment is well laid out with large master bedroom and lounge. Enjoyed having the balcony off the master bedroom so we could enoy the fresh seaside air. Having a 2nd bathroom worked great for us ladies getting ready for our many travel adventures to hilltop villages, Monaco, and Old Town. Transportation was right outside our door. The apartment is ideally situated, close to all amenities. We enjoyed daily shopping at the local markets to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables as well as the lovely patisserie to get our morning pastries. We enjoyed our morning breakfasts on the large balcony with an amazing view overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean sea. The beautiful seaside promenade into Menton was stunning. Having access to WiFi definitely was a bonus. Can't wait for our next trip back to Menton and staying at Le Pamela.

“perfect holiday except for the noise”
Reviewed 2 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The apartment was fantastic. Sitting on the balcony in the mornings eating breakfast with the sea practically lapping your feet was amazing. Everything you need is available, including a great cooker if you prefer your own cooking. Menton is an absolute delight. Transport to Monaco/Nice/Italy is so easy and cheap. Coffee shops are great for fresh croissants and patisseries - especially the Swiss one in the centre of town. The information pack supplied by the owners is a great help and full of useful guidance.
The only downsides to the holiday were the noise of the scooters whizzing thru the streets even during the nights tooting their horns - we had to close the shutters at night which helped a bit, and unfortunately the French haven't caught up with the rest of us in relation to dogs fouling in the street - the owners are oblivious to hygiene and good manners in relation to their animals so do watch where you are walking!!!

“Couldn't be better”

A gorgeous apartment right opposite the sea. Everything was perfect and the view from the lovely lounge room and main bedroom just spectacular. It was very hot (high 20s and low 30s) but I rarely used the airconditioning in the lounge room. (Couldn't make the one in the bedroom work - flat batteries?) Instead I followed the advice of leaving the little window in the back bedroom open and the breeze swept through to the front of the apartment. I left the big doors open in the lounge room at night, and lowered the shutters. I closed both the bedroom doors and shutters because of the noisy motorbikes thinking the street was a grand prix circuit in the early hours! Everything is provided, even beach chairs and beach towels. I enjoyed my swims in the little cove opposite. I was able to park my car in the street behind the apartment and this is where the entrance is, which was convenient.

Thank you so much for your good comments. We too, love the views to Italy and France and swim across the road daily. The best restaurants are each side of our apartment. Next time you can walk to Monaco or to the Italian border, or play your game of tennis across the road!
Visit again...even in Winter as we have underfloor heating and a cosy home from home!

Stayed here for 6 days with my adult son and my sister. The apartment was clean & comfortable and ideally situated, close to all the amenities.I t is very well laid out and we particularly liked the large balcony. Had breakfast there every morning.& watched the sun go down each evening -beautiful. My son had the en-suite room which was ideal when holidaying with two females. Perfectly comfortable too,if the weather hadn't been so good. Almost home from home really. Restaurants all within easy reach, and those that we tried were lovely. Lovely patisserie on the corner too.We spent two full days at the tennis in Monte Carlo, which was easy to get to either 10/mins by bus opposite or 7mis by train which was approx 15mins walk away. Enjoyed Menton and our time in the apartment so much so that we found it hard to leave..Would definitely recommend it and hopefully will return there again.

Just back from a lovely holiday in Menton staying at La Pamela. The two main great things about this accommodation are 1) it has the most amazing views with 2 full sets of patio doors taking you out to the largest balcony ever - it'll be difficult to forget those lovely breakfasts sitting out. The main bedroom and living rooms are both so bright because of the outlook straight facing the turquoise blue Mediterranean Sea. 2) the attention of the owner, Phena, who could not have done more to make sure our stay was comfortable eg. when the dvd did not work we sent a text explaining that our 7 year old had brought some Dvds for the evenings, it was a surprise when a new one was delivered and installed within 48 hours (incl the weekend!). Oh, and there were even deck chairs to take down to the beach! Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We love the views too and in winter love the underfloor heating, and our views. We try to have it as we feel it is our 2nd home and hope there is a good feeling for our friends too. Happy holidays and visit again!

“Great place to stay in Menton”

My husband and I just returned from a one week stay at Le Pamela. We had a wonderful time.
The location is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to everything. The furnishings are very comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen are a little snug but have everything you need and very functional. The view is beautiful you may have a hard time leaving the balcony! We cooked most of our meals so we could enjoy the view! We never needed the a/c. We left the windows open all night to enjoy the fresh air and to listen to the waves.
When we arrived the first day a very nice woman was there to greet us and show us around. All of the arrangements before arriving are very easy.
