We spent the last 8 days of our vacation here and it was truly perfection. After having been traveling non-stop for a week before, this was really the rest and relaxation we needed. Joel immediately made us feel at home. To add to the charm of the place, when I learned that Joel had renovated the entire place with his own two hands, I was shocked. The quality and attention to detail in everything from the design of the rooms to the lush landscape truly speaks to the warmth that Sonia and Joel have invested in this B&B.

We arrived in Mougins purely for R&R with some loose plans to visit Cannes and other neighboring villages, but ended up staying poolside for the majority of our stay. Realizing that there was no restaurant or food made to order, we went to the local grocery store to stock up on snacks to get us between the huge breakfasts and dinner.

Of course, I cannot leave this review without mentioning the breakfasts, as many reviewers have before me. They absolutely lived up to our expectations, and Sonia continued to surprise us every morning with her homemade tarts, quiches and breads. We grew comfortably accustomed to our 2-3 hour breakfasts sitting outside at a communal table with the other guests and were content until about 2pm, when Joel would bring around ice cream for those who decided to stick around the pool.

All in all, what really made this place special were the people. Not only did we meet several guests who were returning for the third or fourth time who easily call this place their summer home, Joel and Sonia were the most amazing hosts. I would enthusiastically recommend Mas de Mougins to anyone looking for a calm getaway.

This is exactly what we were looking for, a friend recommended this place to us and we were so happy that she did! We found Le Mas to be super charming, clean and the owner Joel was extremely friendly and accommodating. We woke up every morning to an outstanding home made breakfast served in the beautiful garden by the swimming pool. The location was great, if you rent a car it is only a short drive to Cannes (about 15min)
I also highly recommend a romantic night for dinner in Mougins village up in the hills, so dreamy!
All in all this was an amazing few days, take me back!!!

We were met by a Terrier with the usual 'all bark no action' greeting. He then asserted his territorial claim by cocking his leg on the hire car. He was super cute and I wanted to steal him but he wouldn't come with me. He's called Poupie by the way.

Le Mas is stunning and makes you want to relocate to France. The owner even brought ice cream to those of us sat around the pool one day. This pleased me as my Dad was being a grumpy chops, sulking in the room and missed out!

The 2 bedroom suite was lovely but I recommend getting 2 rooms if you want privacy. The shower is in one of the bedrooms. There's a disused mezzanine level that creates an echo chamber so quash any thoughts of a romantic liaison as even snoring (and trumping) reverberate in your ear.

The rooms are gorgeous, kind of typically French but with a modern twist. There were some caramels in the room which was a major bonus. I tried to scoff then before anyone noticed but my Mum can sniff out sweets from 20 miles.

The beds were comfy and everyone slept well.

Mougins is one of my favourite places for eating (no surprise) and looking at art galleries.

The breakfast at Le Mas was to be celebrated. A song could have been written about it. Treat after home baked treat kept arriving, even apple crumble and we all managed to squeeze a slice in. It was delicious! The owner had a really dry sense of humour and he was really nice.

We would return as we loved it.

We had an excellent time at this lovely place. Got a great welcome from the owner, who also provided great recommendation for a dinner place, and were treated by the BEST breakfast. We warmly recommend this place in case you are in the area.

We found mas de mougins by chance and it truly is a hidden gem. It is a b&b located in a quaint village close to Cannes. The rooms are pretty new and they are all located around the pool. If the weather is good, breakfast is served around the pool, otherwise in a lovely lounge around a huge table. It is lovely because all the guests sit together and eat, which feels like being part of a big family in a way. The breakfast is amazing! There is fresh bread, home-made quiche, home-made cake and a buffet of cold cuts. We certainly will return!

Room Tip: All rooms are situated around the pool so they are all lovely!

What more can you ask for? One of the most charming towns in So France, a comfortable room, warm service, reasonable rates and a super terrific breakfast. We couldn't have been more pleased. Looking forward to a return visit!

I would not stay at this B&B again it was poor value for money & the room definitely did not match the description provided nor was it clean. We were generally impressed with the hospitality during our time in France but Le Mas Mougins proved to be the exception as the owner was quite rude. The only place on our holiday that we were very glad to leave.
