“what a surprise!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 October 2012

This restaurant is close to our apartment and l run past it most days to buy bread and croissants.Tonight we went in and the welcome and food were both excellent. It is a homely atmosphere, but the food is fresh and spicy. We also had a lovely Lebanese red wine,Chateau Kefraya, which went very well with the food. They made us feel at home and explained the dishes well.Unpretentious but well worth a visit and excellent value-3courses and wine for 75 Euros for two. They also have a take away service.

Amazing food! Very fresh and delicious! I loved the restaurant. It also has a take away/ catering which offers a great choice of lebanese food too.
The staff is super friendly and they speak ENGLISH too.
A MUST if you come to Nice.

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2012

Unpretentious restaurant around the back of the Port but well worth the walk. Don't expect "fine dining" just great Middle Eastern cooking at reasonably prices. The cold mezze plate was a revelation, five or six portions of mezze better prepared than I have eaten anywhere. They do take away too! Don't miss it.

“Huge portions if you eat in, great take away mezzes for home”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2012

Everything at the Pin d'Alep is delicious, but my favourite is the Mouamarra - a spicy dip made with red peppers and pine nuts. I love using their take away service as my local Mediterranean deli. All our friends and family request Pin d'Alep take home meals when they come and visit. It is family run, and the loukoum is dangerously good.
