It's rare for me to give 5* rating especially when it's about Italian food abroad.
Well, they deserve it.
Burrata, parmigiana, spaghetti con vongole, saltimbocca alla romana, bordeaux, orgasm and fondant. Plus coffee. Everything was really, but really good.
Please book ahead, they are fully booked (Saturday) and you won't be able to try your luck.

Had dinner with my husband at this cute Italian restaurant. We had reserved for 20.00 and I'm glad we arrived at this time because there were only 2-3 tables with customers so we got served very quickly. The restaurant got full by 21.00 so I strongly recommend reservations.

Food: we shared the eggplant parmigiano (HEAVEN!) which was delicious - wish I could have had more of this!!! For mains, we opted for a seafood spagetti and a spagetti vongole. Both dishes were served in the largest plates we had ever seen! My spagetti vongole was just perfect: very generous serving of vongole (clams), the perfect texture for spagetti - al dente - and a delicious sauce with the perfect saltiness. My husband's seafood spagetti was also yummy, with a red sauce. I don't know how we had space for tiramisu after this filling meal, but we ordered and shared one anyway - it was different than what we are used to, with less alcohol and a harder biscuit.

Overall, an amazing experience in the cozy & friendly restaurant - will surely return and recommend to our friends!

Well almost but not quite !
Place is one of those try to be eclectic ramshackle trendy hippy chic real food places with a larger than life owner who at the same time was brusque and over friendly. A bit intimidating and didn't endear himself when at the end of the evening he asked for a good trip advisor review! Young Anne wanted a slight menu variation. No way was the response you get what's on the menu and that's it
The food is great if you like seafood. The pasta gorgeous and Big serving bowls very aesthetic .the meat dish on menu was really pricey so we had fishy things. It was enjoyable and food good even if they were a little in love with themselves.
The waitress was lovely and charming and in some ways made up for the owners Mr Bighead and Ms Misery!

We got here just in time before the lunch crowd arrived. A busy place but worth the wait. Would fly back in a heartbeat for the risotto!

Very, very good! Highly recommend this place if you remember to book ahead of time! (Phone in or 'The Fork'). Otherwise almost no chance of getting in. Great food, locally sourced, very generous portions, so share your appetizers before your main course! We ordered way too much (& we have 2 teenaged boys & still couldn't finish everything!) The burrata appy with ham & eggplant was amazing; pasta dishes are so tasty! By the looks of the other meals coming out, I don't think there's a bad dish in the place. The owner, Alex, who bears an uncanny resemblance to 'Gepetto' is the heart & soul of the place! Highly entertaining!
