arrived at the hotel at 12pm and was told room would be ready at 1, so we had a walk the supermarket then came back at 1, to be told wont be ready till 3, :( so that was a shame if we knew this we would of gone for a walk around nice earlier. but still we decided then to go around nice and come back later as we left our luggage.came back room ready, we found it gorgeous! spacious, heated towel rails were great huge bathroom, lovely comfy wide beds and the kitchen had everything we needed, the reception was nice and wifi was very fast, The staff were ok, location on a good road with mcdonalds right opposite about 20 mins walk from the front, tram stop very close, hotel modern and clean much more like apartments which is nice, the courtyard was quiet and we could put the shutter down on the window at night which kept it cool and the noise out. would 100% return and defently will if i come back to Nice.

We were three girls that rented an suite for three days. It was spacious enough, but it was not very clean. You could clearly see grease marks from hands on the doors and walls, and the carpet floor looked awful, and like someone had puked over it. However, it was ok for only a three day stay.
Another minus was that the toilet was separated from the bathroom. And the toilet dident have a sink to wash the hands. But the room were light and, the beds were very good to sleep in.
Only room cleaning every three days.

Good things about this hotel is:
The staff was fantastic and very helpful, and took their time explaining places to go, and eat.
The train is only a three minute walk away from the hotel. And there is a supermarket right across the street, so that you can coock yourself in the "mini kitchen" of the rooms.
It is a quiet hotel.
And they have a pool.

I would rather choose a hotel closer to the old town, and the big clothing stores for my next stay in Nice.Because it is a while to walk to find good restaurants and bars from the hotel.
It is almost impossible to get a taxi by night in Nice, it can be a very long and cold walk home.

Slightly unusual in that this place is a converted office block. It's been done well, is modern, bright and clean. Described as self-catering it actually has nearly all the features of a hotel with the exception of daily cleaning. Our room (110) was a studio, about the size of a standard hotel room with a kitchenette and balcony. The bed was comfortable but was pull-out, not sure why, but suppose it could be rolled up during the day to give more space - we didn't bother. The kitchenette was really useful: eating out in Nice is expensive; we could make a drink and prepare breakfast/light meals. It was well-equipped in some respects (kettle, toaster, fridge, hob, dishwasher) but poorly in others (eg only two sets of cutlery meaning we had to wash up after every use). Whilst a shopping centre with a massive Carrefour supermarket is just over the road budget-conscious travellers might want to consider taking a starter-pack of bits and pieces eg salt, pepper, kitchen towel, foil, tea bags, coffee; the Hipark provided only washing up liquid and a cloth. The room was bright and well-decorated, certainly at least as good as could be expected for the price, probably better.

Location: just off centre but most of the major sights (museums, art galleries, shopping centre, Old Town, port etc) are within 10-15 minutes walking distance. And the public transport is excellent: the busses and trams are fully integrated with one ticket covering both. The nearest tram stop is only a couple of hundred yards from the hotel and goes downtown in minutes. Busses buzz all around to all major destinations. Prices went up in May: one journey is e1.50, a "multi" ticket is 10 euros for 10 journeys. 'Long-distance' buses are 1.50 euros per journey - fantastic value: we went all the way to Monaco in one direction and Antibes in the other for that - slow but worth it for the stunning views. The 98 bus to/fro the airport costs 6 euros and stops within 5 minutes walk of the hotel ('Delfino' stop). There are plenty of restaurants on Place Garibaldi (10 minutes walk) but even the local streets round the hotel have a scattering of restaurants, bars and boulangeries. McDonalds is just over the road, within the shopping centre.

Room Tip: A matter of personal choice: we asked for (and got) a room on the first floor looking inwards, ie on...

Stayed here for a night with 3 friends. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful.

Our room was spacious compared to the other hotels we stayed at in London and Paris. It also had a mini kitchen. There were two queen beds in the room. I just find it weird that the toilet and the shower are separate and in the opposite sides of the room.

All in all we had a great time in Nice and enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

I stayed at the HIPARK hotel back in August, the hotel is ok but after they had a dispute over payment with the travel agent I booked through (and had paid in full) the hotel (WITHOUT AUTHORITY) Debited my account 2 months later for the full cost of the stay rather than go through the proper channels to retrieve payment. AVOID

We were looking for a hotel in Nice for a 4 night stay, whilst we spent our time exploring Nice, Monte Carlo and surrounding areas.
Hipark is situated about 1.5mls North of the promenade and beach, and we found the walk in to the old town and the regular shops was within easy reach. We actually only used the tram service once (although very good).
Being slightly 'out of town', meant perhaps a quieter area at night compared to those hotels further in town.
We chose the standard Studio, (on first floor facing the courtyard) which had a double bed (formed with 2 single beds). The bed was comfortable, but our room was quite cold, even though the thermostat was set to 30!. Maybe the stat / air con needed attention.
Our room was very clean and fresh, and had a kitchenette incorporating a microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge (and small freezer), kettle, toaster, cutlery , crockery and pans. There was also a complimentary pack containing washing up liquid, dishwasher tablet and sponge.
Other items available in the room included a TV, an ironing board (ask reception for the iron), a digital safe, a hair dryer , and even a vacuum cleaner. (Should you feel the need).
Internet connection was by way of an Ethernet cable only, so no wifi in the room.
During our 4 night stay, our linen and towels were changed on the 3rd day, which I believe is the standard service for stays of 4 to 6 nights.
We chose to use the hotel underground car park at 15 euros per day.
It's that, or you find a space on the roadside. Good luck with that!
You are given a car park swipe card upon request, and this allows entry to the locked barrier at the car park entrance, and you also need it to activate the lift back up to the reception. So cars are very secure. In fact you even need your room key card to get access to the hotel lifts and stairways.
Good security measure.
Opposite the hotel is a convenient shopping mall (and car park at 14euros per day, but car park closes after 22:30, so your car is locked in until the morning, and also closed all day Sunday). There's also a McDonalds directly opposite, if you're desperate.
We didn't choose to eat at the hotel, as there are numerous restaurants available, with a variety of cuisines, and all easy to get to.
As a tip for those wishing to visit Monaco or other nearby locations, take the train, as the station is only 5mins walk from the hotel. (Monaco is 7.2 euros return - 20min each way)
So our stay was very pleasant, and we found the staff eager to help.
We would recommend this hotel, and would be happy to try it again.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Was surprised find a kitchenette in room which was an added bonus.A little off the beaten track in a residential area but tram was just round the corner.Hotel was very clean and although the room had a sofa bed it was very comfy. The best bit, especially in Nice was the rooftop pool. There was only a few people used it so it was like a private pool.Only downside was no chairs or sunbeds.Lots of little cafes and restaurants round about and a great shopping centre across the road.Stayed for 5 nights and would definitely go back.
