The concierges were more like a sale man , I felt they were dishonest too . Most of the staff were unfriendly and have bad vibes . I would not stay in this hotel again if I go to nice , France . if you ask the concierges for any advice they will try to sell you something and if you don't buy they will very unkind

Dear Omar,
Thank you for posting on Trip Advisor and I am sorry to read that you were not happy with the attitude of our concierges and our staff in general. Rest assured that I have shared your comments with my team and that they are not in line with our usual “Yes I Can” service standards.
I do hope that you will give us a second chance upon your next visit to the South of France and with best regards,

This is a solidly four-star Radisson hotel, a 35 minute walk from the centre of Nice. The rooms are modern enough, everything was nice and clean, and we had a great view out over the sea. The experience was let down by the high charges for using the private beach and hotel bicycles.

Internet: WiFi provided throughout the hotel, on the rooftop pool/terrace and on the private beach which was a nice surprise. I consistently managed speeds of 30 Mbps down, 14 Mbps up, 36 ms ping, better than I expected.

Room: We had a Sea View room (the view is great) which was plenty big enough and the king size bed was comfortable. You'd expect so for ~300 Euro per night. The main road outside is entirely silenced by the balcony's sliding door which was fortunate, as it was quite noisy from the balcony at times. The curtains shut out pretty much all light if you need them to.

Gym: A few cardio machines in a room with a door that can be opened, and across the hall a lonely old multi-resistance machine in a boiling hot area with no window to open. The cardio machines seemed fine but the resistance and weights were a bit lacking. There was only a single pin to set the resistance, so you had to move it around the equipment or share if anyone else was there. Only the lat pulldown was really worth using. Bit of a shame.

Rooftop pool/terrace: 10m x 15m pool, so a reasonable size. Didn't get particularly busy in the pool, but the loungers around the sides were mostly taken by 10-11am. Nice views of the sea from the terrace, which also has a bar/restaurant area.

Private beach: This would be great if it wasn't so much money. After you've paid for your room, checked in and been informed about the lovely private beach, you then expect to at least be able to use it. We sat on sun loungers for a few minutes before we were evicted, and told that someone had reserved our loungers. We were asked to pay 20 Euro each! We asked if we could just sit on the pebbles, as we didn't particularly care about having a lounger. We were told this was not possible and asked to leave the area. We weren't very happy as a result. The hotel must surely realise this puts people off, and is not a welcoming atmosphere to create for your paying hotel guests. There seemed to be no option for staying in the private beach area without a sun lounger, nor for paying for only e.g. 2 hours.

Beachfront: The beachfront in general near the hotel doesn't get too busy and the sea is beautiful.

Bike hire: The hotel has around 10 elderly orange bikes that are available for guests to hire, for 10 Euro each. We thought this was a bit much (the city's VeloBlu scheme is cheaper and more prevalent), plus the fact that the Concierge insisted on us paying him personally in cash was off-putting. We were not permitted to charge this to the room. As a result we didn't use the hotel's bicycles.

Overall we thought that the hotel reasonable, but the location (it's quite a trek to get into Nice on a hot day, or to go anywhere for dinner), the gym equipment, and the charges for the beach and bikes were too much for me to rate the hotel higher.

Room Tip: Sea View very nice, worth upgrading from a City View if you can.

Dear Alex,
Thank you for your review on Trip Advisor.
We are happy to learn that you appreciated our complimentary high speed wifi and the comfort of your room and have taken good note of your comments regarding the gym and bike hire.
Fees for our beach are clearly indicated on our web site and include comfortable sun loungers, towels, sun umbrellas, toilets, changing rooms, free wifi and a bar & restaurant.
Off course access at the public beach is for free but does not offer all the above mentioned services.
We do hope to welcome you again and with best regards,

We arrived at Radisson blu on the 19/7/2014.by car and stayed for 4 days. We were little stunned to hear that we had to pay 30 Euro per day to park our car. The personnel were very friendly. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is short ride away from the tourist centre for those wanting to stay in a quieter part of Nice. We didn’t use restaurant at the hotel because there were many restaurants to choose from in the city.
The Hotel had a roof top swimming pool with stunning view and a private beach, but you had to pay 20 Euros for the use of towel and chars. That was another surprise to us. Breakfast was reasonably good but nowhere as good as other Radisson Hotels that we had been in and we had to queue for breakfast for about 10 minutes. I’m not sure that we would stay at this Hotel again.

Room Tip: upper floor with sea view room

The hotel has a parking (payable which is clearly marked on our web site) to ensure the safety of your car and the fee includes valet service.
I am sorry you had to wait a few minutes for your table at breakfast due high occupancy at our hotel during your stay.

Decent room, great employees and very near to the airport. However an additional charge on accessing private beach area (26€ per person) was a surprise. There is also nothing around the vicinity of the hotel except the evening beach walk. You need to take a cab/public transport to go the the Nice city center.

Had a fantastic stay on my last day in Nice. People at check-in were friendly and very helpful. I was able to wait for my room to be ready by the pool which was great! Had a superb lunch at the roof terrace restaurant, while enjoying a spectacular panoramic seaview. The room was a bit expensive but very nice indeed and clean. Excellent breakfast and v good service even though quite busy. It is a fantastic location for the airport with the bus stopping right outside every 10-15 mins and takes 15 mins to arrive at Nice airport.

We spent 5 days in this hotel for our holidays...what a treat, probably the most beautiful view in Nice...the view from our room was also amazing, when you wake up you think you are on a boat.I have read before booking that aditional fees applied for the swimming pool sunbeds and the beach also, but no surprise as we are on the French Riviera, and at least we were able to book them in advance and make sure we could really have availability and rest....The service was also great, Will recommed it...

Wonderful staff, except one of the concierges who has a bit of an attitude issue. Facilities are excellent, food is super, especially the roof top restaurant which has great views of Nice. Room service and housekeeping are also spot on. Only down side is the location being so far away from the centre of Nice. Our average taxi to get to Nice was around 25 Euro, which added up to a significant amount for our stay.
