Lovely hotel in excellent location for beach, restaurants and station. Very friendly staff. Particular thanks to Lydie (reception) who was very helpful when I lost my phone in Nice. Would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Stayed in superior room. Modern bathroom and large comfortable bed.

We stayed here in a triple room in June.
The room was a decent size for 3 adults with 3 single beds, very hard to find triples in Nice without having to pay for 2 rooms.
We booked directly with the hotel and so breakfast was included, a good deal since it had a good selection of hot and cold items.
We did not have enough towels the first night of our stay so left a message with housekeeping and that was more than rectified on the second day.
All amenities were replenished which was very appreciated.
Laundry was done the same day and taxis can also be booked via the hotel.
A kettle and tea, coffee was provided gratis.
The location of the hotel was good, just off Jean Medecin, the Main Street of Nice and half way between the Port, the beach and the station, in fact near to everything of interest.
We were very pleased with this hotel and would come again.
The air conditioning worked for us plus we had a room facing the street with a nice little balcony.
The lift was a little small but that was not a problem.

Just a block away from where you want to be and very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast.
But:
It was very hot those days and the air conditioning did not succeed getting the temperature to an acceptable level.
The people above us had heavy feet and were walking from 7 am to 11 pm.
The bedside lamps are not strong enough for reading.

We stayed here for five nights over the Grand Prix weekend. Our room on the 4th floor wasn't the largest but was very adequate. Confortable bed, lovely bathroom and very clean. The staff were very professional, polite and willing to help. Breakfast was only ok for the money but us English are into our full english :)
The hotel is in a perfect position halfway from both the promenade and train station. The shops and restaurants are very close. Great Hotel

We had a family room with a double and single bed, located on the corner of the building on level 4. As the room was on a high level, it was filled with light through three openable windows, which also allowed a nice breeze in.

The room was much, much bigger than I was expecting, which was ideal as there was plenty of space on the floor for our son to play with his toys at the end of the day. The fridge that was provided was empty, which was perfect for us to fill up with stuff - I dont see the point in overpriced minibars, so just having the fridge to use was great!

The bathroom was ok. A good size and quite clean, but the adjustable shower struggled to hold a position and kept sliding down and twisting slowly… not a big deal, but it resulted in the direction of the water flow slowly changing meaning that we seemed to always have a big puddle on the floor after using it.

Breakfast was very good - lots of choice, and plenty of healthy options. Some items were slow to be replenished, and we often found that all the plates or cutlery were gone and had to ask for more. Very nice breads were offered.

The best aspect was the friendly staff. I can't remember the name of the girl who we most often spoke to, but she was a pleasure to deal with and a real asset to the hotel. She engaged with our son and loved counting with him in French!

I wouldn't say our stay was cheap, but given that we stayed around Cannes Film Festival/Grand Prix season, I would say that our stay was good value. I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are filled with light, particularly our room on level 4… I think it was 409

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel excellent, in easy walking distance of the train station, beach and the Old Town, with the shopping area on its doorstep and loads of restaurants and bars nearby. Slightly noisy with the window open, but totally silent once closed.

Room Tip: If you are claustrophobic (as with many European hotel lifts, it was quite small) and don't like...

My partner and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Hotel Roosevelt.

The hotel is very close to a number of restaurants and cafés. The beach is under a 10 minute walk away, along with the Promenade des Anglais. The port is about a 15 - 20 minute walk away. The main shopping district including mall and Galleries Lafayette is a 5 minute walk away.

The double room we stayed in was a reasonable size. Complimentary toiletries were included, along with tea and coffee. A fridge is also provided, along with bottle opener. Each room is air conditioned, has access to wi-fi (not the fastest, but not the worst) and has a television (English language channels available are BBC World, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg and CNBC).

Complimentary tea, coffee and pastries are served in the lobby each day from 12 noon.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They always acknowledged us with a smile and were very approachable. Reception is also manned 24 hours a day.

All in all a fantastic stay, and I would love to stay here again.
