Very nice room - our room was quite large and towards the far end of the hotel. Just off a main street near major shopping centres. 10 minutes walk to the beach in one direction and major train station Gard SCNF of Nice. Had a day trip to Monaco - 20 minutes by train. Tram stop 2 minutes away to take you around Nice. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Towards the back of the hotel for quieter rooms

That was our second time in Nice, but first at this hotel. The room was nice and cozy. We didn't expect to have an electric kettle in the room, so it was nice surprise :) The staff were helpful and the breakfast was tasty. This hotel is really in the center so everything was near.

A nice hotel very very centrally located. The room was nice but would maybe be a bit small for a couple. Bathroom was fairly big and very clean and nice. Coffee/tea making facilities in the room was an excellent bonus (as I stayed there almost 2 weeks). The location is excellent, the best you can have for a nice city holiday in Nice - 1 minute from the main shopping street and tram stops, 10 minutes to the station and very easy to walk to the seaside and old town as well. Despite of this very central location the hotel was quiet and the room was very comfortable and stuff very friendly. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and plan to go back myself.

We visited in June 2012 and returned mid-December. We wanted to experience Nice in the run-up to Christmas and as we were so comfortable at the Boreal, rebooked with them. I e-mailed the hotel direct to ask that we had the same room and they obliged. Many thanks for that to the Boreal team.
Comfortable as ever, breakfast more than adequate and helpful staff. The rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and this hotel represents extremely good value for money.
Had a wet day but the others were warm and sunny, a real tonic in December. Look forward to returning in a year or two.

Room Tip: If you need lift access to your room mention this when booking as not all parts of this hotel are accessible by lift.

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel recently. We were in a triple room which was small but adequate with a single and a standard double bed. The downside was the room was very warm and we had to put the air con on in November. There was also no shampoo supplied but some lovely shower gel. We also didn't have tea/coffee making facilities which other rooms had- may have been due to excellent room price we got through Easyjet holidays. The staff were very friendly and helpful and happily advised us on places to visit, places to eat and transport. The buffet breakfast was average but plentiful- the best thing was the fresh orange juicer which meant guests could have freshly squeezed juice. The hotel is ideally situated- 10 min walk from the SNCF station, 15 min walk from the Promenade Des Anglais and the old town. There is also a tram stop 2 minutes from the hotel and lovely shopping centre. Will definitely go back.
