This is a lovely hotel, very clean and the breakfast was first class. It is located very centrally for visiting Nice. The staff were very welcoming and we really enjoyed our holiday. It is situated just off the main thoroughfare which is a tram and bicycle only precinct, so very easy to cross the road.

We have been to Nice many times and when I found this hotel on Expedia I knew it would be ideal as far as it's position was concerned. It is just off the main thoroughfare, Jean Medicin,, just 5 minutes from the pedestrianised shopping area and 10 minutes from the Promenade des Anglais and the Old Town. I checked it out on Trip Advisor and got a great price which included breakfast from a company I had never heard of, Amoma. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice (including fresh oranges and a juicer). The bedroom had a modern fresh feeling and amazingly for a 3 star French hotel even had coffee and tea making facilities.
There were several good restaurants within 5 minutes walk from the hotel if you didn't want to go far at night.
We will definitely stay there again when we next go to Nice.

We stayed at the Hotel Boreal while in Nice, having no idea beforehand what the location was like. We found that the hotel was very accessible to everything we wanted - beach, restaurants, shopping, people watching, and attractions we had read about ahead of time. All of it was easy to get to from the Boreal. Also, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and happily gave us directions and advice about all the local stuff. The room was small and very basic, and the breakfast was just OK. But the location and staff made up for it. If you want a great locaton in Nice, and you don't mind the the negatives mentioned, I'd check out Hotel Boreal.

Excellent hotel with a brilliant location. It is within a stones throw of the main shopping street and 10 minutes walk to the coast. Staff were so helpful at check in- providing information on a map of where to go in Nice. Room was clean, comfortable and great facilities- air con, tv, storage, tea/coffee, wifi and a free safe. Very comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Breakfast is a separate charge if wanted. Hotel kept out bags for the day when checking out as our flight was at night. Ordered a taxi for us- very reasonable €30. Overall I would recommend to anybody wanting location and comfort visiting Nice!

Lovely hotel in a great central area of Nice with a 10 minute walk to the train station or the beach and a tram stop just round the corner. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Our room was clean and fresh although slightly small but as we were only going to be using it as a base where to sleep, it didn't matter to us at all. Breakfast was good, full range of food and drink choices. The only complaint we would have was that the air conditioning in our room was more like a fan and didn't cool the room, it was cooler to sleep with the window open but this attracted Mosquitos and so we came home covered in bites. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a lovely little hotel centrally located and only 10 mins walk to the station and seafront. It has a number of restaurants nearby and is 50m from the tramline. The rooms were very clean and modern with even a bath. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was good value. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you're not worried by the size of room. We didn't need it this time, but there is no real bar area. However, next door are 3 small restaurants!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are really quiet.

Our experience at this hotel has been positive. We speak no French and were apprehensive about how helpful staff would be, the staff at this hotel have been great, could not be more helpful. The location is great, walking distance to shops, transport and restaurants. The room are small, but they are clean and more than adequate. WIFI worked well enough the breakfast is also good. Bed in our room wad a double and very comfortable, also quiet. We stayed for three nights in May. Overall good value for money.
