Comfortable, good location, friendly, free wi-fi, nice tv in lobby, but the rooms, oh my.

Ours was so tiny! We had two single beds about as wide as a plank and were basically cots. That's all there was room for! If I turned over, I'd knock a lamp over or bang a limb on a wall!

No restaurant, no room service, no bellhops, no iron, no little fridge, no coffee maker, small tv visible only from 1 bed, no concierge. No usable desk, no room for more than overnight luggage, no dresser, no pool, no gym, etc.

Price, well, $50 is about all it's worth. It can cost that but often goes over $150!

Granted, this place is OK, but just how it got 3* is beyond me.

We stayed at this Hotel for a three nights in November to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday! We bought an incredibly cheap city break with Easyjet and I was slightly dubious about what the quality of the accomodation would be. No need for the worry, it was just perfect for us.The hotel was in a great location and provided an ideal base from which to explore the city. Just 5 mins from Place Massena in a quiet side street. Friendly, happy, smiley staff. Fairly basic rooms but comfortable and clean. Good functional and spotless bathroom with hairdryer. Very comfortable beds. Adjustable heating.Tip: If you like making tea in your room bring a travel kettle! Hotel provides an excellent continental breakfast, buffet style for 9 Euros each. Cheaper option in cafe next door for 5.5 Euros each.
Nice is such a great and diverse city. It has the beautiful coast and seafront with stunning sunsets, Central Nice for shopping , the picturesque Old Town with beautiful architecture, bars, cafes and small shops, and the markets in Cours Salaya. Art galleries and museums, also the amazing panoramic views from Colline du Chateau. There is so much to do and see...Nice is quite compact so we walked everywhere...that way you don't miss a thing!

We stayed here and found it very good value. Paid only £100 for 3 nights bed and breakfast. OK the rooms are a bit scruffy but very clean, the public areas are great and the staff couldn't be better. The breakfast is really good. Only drawback is the noise if you are in the front rooms. Make sure you get a quiet room at the back! Highly recommended.

Stayed in the hotel for two nights, we used it as a base to visit Monte Carlo. Hotel was good for what we paid, €60 a night through booking.com. It was nothing fancy but adequate. The room was quite small but clean and tidy, bathroom was also clean but no shower curtain on the bath. Didn't have breakfast in the hotel, cheaper to have breakfast elsewhere.

Reception staff were great, very friendly and spoke good English when necessary. On the whole, the hotel was in a good location and was good value for money

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and found it to be cheap and cheerful as expected. The room was small, scruffy but clean. The bathroom was better than the room and also clean. A word of warning - the shower is piping hot and has excellent pressure, however it is on a bracket 1 metre from the bathtub so showering is impossible unless you are a midget! Be prepared for the city tax, even if your chosen booking site states all taxes included as mine did. You also have to pay for the safe key. The reception team speak excellent English and are very helpful. We did not bother with the breakfast but used the cafe next door - small coffee, juice and croissant 3 euros. Hotel charges 9 euros - even if you go for the large breakfast next door, large coffee, juice, 2 croissants, butter and preserve, it is still only 5 euros 90. The location is good and as long as you expect zero frills, you should be OK
