Location/Getting there:-
The location is fantastic. We got the bus from the airport and it dropped us at the end of the road (look out for a restaurant called Cocodile) and get off there. The hotel is 15 mins from the old town and 1 min to the beach!

Hotel and Staff:-
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We couldn't check in until 3pm so left our bags in a side room. The hotel is nicely decorated.
Supermarket opposite which sells most things and is reasonably priced. We had breakfast included and it was mainly croissants, yoghurt, fruit, toast, cereal etc.

Room:-
The room was nice but quite small. The wardrobe was so narrow it wasn't wide enough for a coat hanger! There was a small table too. The toilet was separate to the shower room. Both quite small but OK. I think we had a standard room. The TV had about 20 channels but only BBC news in English.

Restaurants:-
We ate in the old town, at Cocodile, Jardins du Capitole and the Davisto Italian nearby. All were fantastic but quite expensive! Most waiters can speak some English but its probably advisable to greet them and order in French where possible. A meal for 2 (just main course and only 1 of us drinking) usually came to around £60.

Weather:-
We went at the beginning of October and it was about 20 degrees C and sunny most days.

Activities:-
We would recommend the bus tour which is hop on hop off and about £21 pp.
We also went to Monaco on the train which was fun. Return ticket pp about £7 (there's not a lot of English at the train station so remember your phrase book!)

Room Tip: Choose a room at the front of the hotel and with a balcony.

We stayed here twice in Sept. Excellent location close to beach.
Rooms are small but tastefully decorated and clean.
Breakfast room is small but adequate with a good selection of continental style buffet.
We would definitely stay there again

I stayed there with my fiance.

It is a nice and clean hotel. near the beach. side view to the beach.

They say there's wifi all over the hotel, but in the room it's not working. there's not enough signal.

Plus: Great location (1 minute walk to the beach, 15 minutes walk to old town)
Plus: friendly staff
Minus: Wi-fi quality is pretty bad
Minus: Toilet door opens inside, which makes it a bit tricky to get out.

Very nice boutique hotel. The rooms were bigger than those we had in Paris and London!
The beach is just down the road and it's a nice walk to the flower market as well.
Would definitely stay at this hotel when in Nice again!

We stayed at this hotel on our honeymoon for seven days in July 2003. It's located about 10 minutes walk from Nice's main train station and is one block back from the Promenade des Anglais. It's also about a ten minute walk from the old town along the Promenade.

The hotel itself is light and airy and set in its own grounds. Reception area was modern and finished in a boutique style. Our room had a sea view (we think there is only one room with a sea view so its worth asking beforehand) and it was nice to sit out on the balcony with a glass of wine of an evening. The fixtures and fittings were of a high standard. We didn't have the breakfast as we preferred to use the supermarket opposite the hotel, which had a good bakery attached to it.

The only (very) minor downside of the hotel was the lift, which is tiny and sounded like it struggled a little!

An excellent base in Nice.

The room was spacious, modern and had a good sized

Room Tip: Ask for the sea view room.

A very pretty boutique hotel set in a beautiful old building, a short walk from Promenade des Angelais. The location of this hotel is perfect on a street leading to Promenade des Angelais, you can wander down to the beach at your leisure. It is a very pleasant walk along back streets into the centre of Nice or along the Promenade from this location. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is decorated beautifully and we had a very comfortable room for two. I will definitely be going back to this hotel in the future. I am surprised it is a 3 star hotel in my opinion it should be a 4 star.

Room Tip: Some rooms have balcony's it would be worth getting one of these rooms I think.
