Tucked away in the Old Town of Nice, this was a really nice surprise. A short menu of about 3/4 starters and the same for mains, but they were all really good. You have the option of taking a 2- or 3-course menu at very reasonable prices by Nice's standards (less than €30 for 3 courses fire instance)...decent starters, great mains, excellent desserts ensuring the evening ended on a high. Be sure to reserve beforehand if you are going in the busy season. Definitely worth a visit

We stumbled across this little place wondering through the old town and it's a great find. The restaurant is pretty small and so I would recommend booking, although we were lucky enough to sit straight down with a table outside. The food was delicious and very well presented. This part of the old town is very nice set amongst the old buildings with trees and great lighting for a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and made their recommendations and allowed us to tailor to our tastes. Great value as well and the little wine bags to keep the wine cool are cute. The local aperitif was lovely and refreshing and the speciality of the house and recomeded .

Visited as a group of adults + kids.
We was informed on the spot that they didn't serve kids menu & every kid has to order a complete menu as per adult as they occupied a seat as well.
The owner (I guess) is way too money minded & very rude. When we decided not to take any wine , he refused to offer us the free tap water & forced us to order the mineral water.
We were charged an extra cost of 3€ when we asked a extra plate for the kid to share the food.
Even though the food is good but we won't be back due to the poor service. We didn't enjoy the moment at all. Felt so stressed & pissed off.
That is not a manner of running a restaurant. Service is also important besides the quality of food.
Not recommended!!!! There are much more restaurants out there in adjacent with good good food & good service.

This little restaurant in the heart of old town in Nice is hidden in the maze of the narrow streets. We went for lunch, 4 adults, and 2 kids. The restaurant is tiny but has great ambience and wonderful and efficient service. We noticed that they had provided a booster seat for a little 1 yr old adjacent to our table. The selection of wine is great, especially the local Rose' wines. The menu changes regularly. We loved the house speciality- calamari and snail dishes as starters and the lovely pork, stuffed calamari paella and swordfish dishes for mains. The set price of around 23 euros was pretty good per person. Reservation is advisable.

We enjoyed a two-course meal each at the set price of €23,5 per person. This was our third visit to La P'tite Cocotte in as many years, and the fact that we returned yet again says it all, really. The food is good and the portion sizes are just right for a two-course meal. You can add a dessert for a few Euros, but we just didn't have the space.. A bottle of wine is anything from €17-approx 50.

It's a cosy, popular restaurant in the Old Town. Give yourself some time to find the place as it's up a small alleyway. Probably best to reserve a table to be on the safe side, but there were several couples that turned up during our meal who were shown straight to a spare table.

Their menu changes weekly, something I really like about restaurants. They keep things interesting and you can try new, creative dishes every week. We're sure you won't be disappointed if you give this place a shot!
