“Great Place to Relax and People Watch”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

Blue Beach is an interesting and good experience. We purchased a day pass for 18Euro, and spent a bit more on towels and an umbrella. It's a great, quiet place to hang out at for the day and just relax. The people watching is priceless! The lifeguard does a great job at keeping the public off of the beach, as this is a private beach. Most people there are local European beach goers and a few Americans. They have "beach boys" that wait on you at your chair, or you can eat lunch/dinner at the tables in the back. The beaches in Nice are not sand, they have small grey stones that can be painful on the feet. Blue Beach has a dock and ladder with cocoa mats, so it's not so bad. We looked at the other private beaches and Blue Beach seemed to be the most classy and well run.

“Nice Is More Than Just The Beach”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

While in the Southern France, Nice Blue Beach is definitely not to be missed even if this is my
2nd visit, imply breath taking even if you are not a swimmer. Simply walk around or just laze on the beach to unwind would be make anyone's day. It may be a little pricey (18€ a person) for all day access to the beach but it is worth it since you have already come all the way to the French Riviera and not to be on the beach is waste except if the weather is too chilly.

But of course that is not all you are going to do when in Southern France. In fact, I was in Paris for the first couple of days before making my way south with the first very stop at Avignon via TGV.

While enroute from Avignon to Nice, I had the opportunity to stayover at Arles, Aix-En-Provence, St. Tropez and Monaco.

Besides the beach, take time to visit Vieux Nice (Old Town of Nice) and the Colline du Chateau (Castle Hill) that overlooks the city of Nice France to enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Nice and the French Riviera.

If you have more spare time on hand, take an optional tour to the medieval and fortified hilltop town of St. Paul de Vence in which is worth while visit to just stroll along the old buildings and cobbler-stones little alley to marvel the by-gone years.

Also took a scenic drive enjoying the superb view of the coastline of the French Riviera and mountains to visit the Fraganord Parfumeur besides having a delicious French Cuisine lunch at La Bergerie located at the mountain top.

Before returning to Paris from Nice, made a stop-over at Saint Maximin with a short stayover at Lyon, the great gastronomic city & UNESCO World Heritage Site to visit the Old Town and had a Beaujolais dinner prepared by a three-stars Michelin Chef, at Brasserie Paulaner, a local 'Bouchon'.

After leaving Lyon, make another detour before arriving back into Paris for a few more days as we travel through the Burgundy wine region to stop in the regional capital Beaune for some good purchase.

Despite of the long drive to and fro Nice but the time was well spent with all other visits made along the way had definitely making it a very fruitful trip. Will definitely come back again for the 3rd time.

Only spent 1 hour walking around the beach. Didn't go swimming. Clean beach with beautiful blue water.

“Let's go to beach!”

The French South coast is fantastic. Great beaches and even better views. No sand on the beach though. The promenade is always buzzing the activities.

“A Little Expensive, but Worth it.”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

We stayed across the street at the West End. It was about 18€ a person for all day access to the beach. In our opinion, it was totally worth the little splurge to get off those rocks. The drinks, service, and food was very good.
Also, don't forget to get some beach shoes. I know, I know, they look stupid; but unless you're a local, you'll probably me miserable without them.
