This hotel was so well located, right next to the Promenade in Nice. It’s exactly what you would expect from Marriott. Very clean and functional, large room, modern and tastefully decorated. The rooftop bar and tiki hut were very pretty and we enjoyed an excellent meal there one evening, please make sure to book as it’s very popular.

This was a room booked with reward points. I have heard Marriott has devalued their rewards program and it shows in the room my wife and I were in on the lowest floor with ugly views of building walls and bright sun in the morning. There was mold in the shower; a reading lamp was broken, and there were stains on the floor. The room was otherwise clean. The room offered nothing I would not expect to find in a mid-range hotel. The location is very close to the beach, but a mile to old Nice where the most interesting bars are restaurants are located. There is a pool on the rooftop with a view of the building concrete wall, rather than the skyline or the sea. The breakfast was quite expensive. The staff is friendly and professional. If would not pay for a room at the rates this hotel is charging. This review is my subjective opinion.

The location was good, and walking distance to the city for me. The staff was also excellent and gave great service. The lobby is nice as well. The room was clean and modern, however, I would have expected a lot more from the room considering the price of this hotel. For this reason I can only give 4 stars. We used the parking as well however it is very expensive. Also the bathroom door is only a thin glass partition, so there is not a lot of privacy if you are staying with others. No English channels on TV except BBC. Pool on roof had good views. Views from room were not great.
First, many things to like about this hotel. Employees were all great, rooftop pool and bar were outstanding, the food in the lobby and sitting outside in the courtyard was pleasant, and location is good and right near the beach. Rest is simply average. Beds need an upgrade, read the comments about the rooms and how they are lacking some amenities, bathrooms are small and showers are tricky to get in/out of. For the money, I would have picked differently. Also, ask before you go if construction is going on. Nice has been under a ton of construction as the deal with the new metro across the city, and 2 nights there was some good noise. Just ask if it will be happening at this hotel or others.

We were indeed facing some challenges with the construction works from Nice metropole, that are, however, in the terminal phase. Nice will be soon welcoming its guests with a brand new metro and renovated streets and promenade.

Booked the hotel accidentally because we missed deadlines in another one. It was a happy surprise. Conveniently located on the Promenade Des Anglais, clean modern with spacious rooms and wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast and the real bonus was the rooftop with a nice pool and a well organized bar and restaurant. And all these in a very affordable price. Highly recommend!
We spent a week in Nice and stayed at the AC Marriott. We couldn’t ask for better service and great accommodations. We were a half of a block from the main drag which was great, we didn’t have the traffic noise. We were close to many things since it is centrally located. We found many nice restaurants close by too. The rooftop pool offers a fantastic view if you just want to kick back and enjoy the sun.
