We stayed there for our honeymoon. Overall good view, but not amazing based on us paying for the best view, and the room was small considering. Well cleaned, and they welcomed us with champagne. However, be advised that the street can get loud at times.

Stayed 6 nights for Ironman competition participation including holiday. Rooms where very OK size, even to keep bicycle in it. Bathrooms where larger then usual 4 stars hotels. Service was very good and professional. we arrived 9.00 AM and got our room also immediately. Extra beds are not available. We had two standard rooms and both had ok view to the promenade. Location is really the best for choosing this hotel. We did not take breakfast in hotel, because old town restoran and market street was only few minute walking distance away.

We have just spent 5 nights at Hotel Suisse. We had 2 rooms - a Privilege room for ourselves and a Superior room for our teenage sons. Our room, although having a lovely view was so small. The wardrobe was so tiny we were unable to hang most of our clothes which meant leaving our suitcases open on the floor. With limited space to start with it made staying this long very claustrophobic. Thankfully the bathroom was a decent size. The Superior room was much better laid out and had ample wardrobe and cupboard space. The location is perfect - walking distance to everywhere and the views really are spectacular. Staff generally seemed disinterested and only engaged with us when we spoke to them first. The lift was tiny and very shoddy. Be prepared to carry your own luggage.

This is a must stay accommodation...
The only issue is the bathroom door was so close to the bed it was extremely hard to get into.
Other than that it was fantastic.
Clean bright staff were great, and the location was brilliant close to everything....
Will come back again....

Room Tip: Make sure you get the biggest room and overlooking the beach.

I stayed here for 4 nights in July in Privilige room with balcony overlooking the Bay of Angels (la Baie des Anges). Google Baie des Anges and pictures you see is the exact view from this hotel's rooms, simply spectacular.

Short walk behind the hotel and you are in The Old Town of Nice (or Vieux Nice as the locals call it). Amazing place full of restaurants, cafes, bars, occasional fruit and flower markets. The hotel manager suggested La Voglia on rue Saint Francois de Paule for dinner and it turned out to be best meal for us. Highly recommend you visit this place and Wayne's Pub.

Since this is a 3 star small boutique hotel, it doesn't have conventional guest services of larger luxury hotels such as concierge, doorman, bell desk, and even though the front desk managers are nice and helpful, you have to do many things yourself, such as haul your luggage up in the very small elevator, so think before you book for stay with small kids.

Room Tip: Privilige room with seating in balcony.

This is such a wonderful position. The rooms are lovely the balconies look down along the promenade. Everything is within easy walking distance. You can even get the bus to and from the airport ( six euros per person and the bus runs every twenty minutes ) to save you the taxi fares ( 45 euros at night 30in the day at least ). The best bus point is from the port a short walk away where you can also get a bus to Monte Carlo for one euro fifty per person each way
You have a wide choice of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel offers continental breakfast but you can get a cooked breakfast round in the old flower market area or get a pastry from one of the local patisseries
The room only offers coffee making facilities but with a little imagination you can make tea. Be warned extra coffee capsules seem to cost but to be honest we don't drink coffee so I may have misunderstood that. The cleanliness was brilliant and the bed so comfortable. Extra pillows had to be asked for but once received they were always kept in the room and I couldn't fault the cleaning ladies.
Be warned that the lift and bath are for slender sorts. Two people or one person and a suitcase in the lift at maximum but hey it was only out of action once and the stairs are easy enough even to the fourth floor.

Room Tip: We had a premium room on the fourth floor. The curtains were brilliant and blocked out the morning s...

We stayed at the hotel last week for 2 nights. Firstly, the staff was terrific, very helpful and attentive. Secondly, the view overlooking the beach is just fantastic. Sitting on our balcony and enjoying the sights was great. The rooms were clean and very nice. In addition, the location could not be better. It was about a 10 minute walk to old town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Nice.

Room Tip: Not sure if all rooms face the beach and have balconies, so make sure you get one that does.
