Enjoyed my stay in a great location off of the main blvd. The staff was terrific, and the included breakfast was adequate. My room was clean, but overlook a yard, that housed a guard dog. hummm. good for a few days. I'd stay again

Room Tip: I was on the 2nd floor, and the room was tucked into a quite corner. The view was not great, but I really didn't spend much time in my room, so it was fine

Thank you very much for your kind message. Concerning the neighbor’s dog, honestly we didn’t have any reaction of other clients. But please, do not hesitate to ask for your next stay a room on the other side of the building. Thank you and looking forward welcoming you again!

My husband and I had a great stay at Villa Rivoli. Our room was charming and we enjoyed the enclosed patio/court outdoors. The hotel had a great location, just a couple blocks from the beach, Promenade des Anglais, shopping and restaurants on Rue de France, and easy access to train and bus. I should also compliment the staff at Hotel Villa Rivoli who were exceptionally polite and helpful. I'd stay there again!

Room Tip: Rooms are varied in size and some less expensive ones are located in the basement or lower level of the hotel.

This is an old house converted, the staff, b/fast, cleanly, ness, all great, close to beach town center, we had a room overlooking garden and small seating area, typical french shutters and a small balcony made it feel more than it was. could well recomend for short stay, fair value for money Anthony

Room Tip: try to overlook garden

This small, very pleasant hotel was just near Hotel Negresco- the most amazing hotel in Nice- about ten times the price of Villa Rivoli. Our room was quite small, but there were some that were much larger.(ours was a standard room- all that was available)The breakfast was good and served in a lovely room with typical French decor-and we even had a small chandelier in our bedroom! The hotel is close to the beach and to good cafes.

Room Tip: Splurge on a superior room if you suffer from claustrophobia

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Villa Rivoli, Nice in early September for 4 nights. The Hotel has a good location for sightseeing in Nice and for access to public transport to visit the surrounding area. Perhaps I was expecting more from the reviews I had previously read on Trip advisor but I was somewhat disappointed when we were shown to our room. We had selected a superior double room. Our room was situated on the ground floor and had a bedroom and separate bathroom. Our room looked out onto the street but we did not have any problem with noise. The room was clean but the decor not particularly to my taste. The bed was not the most comfortable and also quite short (my husband who is 5'10 found his feet hanging out the bottom). We had breakfast in the Hotel on the first morning but thereafter ate breakfast at a cafe on the Promenade at a reasonable price. Two restuarants worth mentioning where we enjoyed good French Cuisine are Chez Juliette and Le Resto on Rue Rossetti in Nice Old Town.
