I hardly remember such a big place like this, with so many restaurants and bars all crammed at night with so many nice people, all in the same spot.
A beautiful view, reat to stroll just a bit too hot (la canicule! :-).

Thank Faldi

This is a must-see in Nice. Close to promenade de anglais and place massena, it is a big flower market but also lots of restaurants. We went to eat here on several occations and had a great time here. Highly recommended.

Large market place, cafes, and restaurants close to the promenade. By day mostly markets with the restaurants taking back stage. From the afternoon on the market ends and the restaurants take over. There is the most amazing array of flowers of all types on display. Fruit can be pricy here more so than in some other parts of the town.

The flower market in Nice is a wonderful place to buy fruit, vegetables, salad, all different kinds of pesto, olives, herbs and flowers. You can also buy wonderful bread. One day a week there is an antique market with French antiquities - there a numerous different restaurants/cafes at the Cours Saleya - the smell of all the herbs, fruit and vegetables is so nice that you want to buy it all !!!

Fabulous to walk around in the morning, taking in the sights and smells of fresh produce. Also good for picking up souvenirs. At lunchtime its a great spot to sit and eat. In the evening it changes again and becomes a market full of jewellery and other trinkets.
